Barnyard Burger & Bar - Brownsville (TX)

4 /5 Pete Smith: Excellent burgers! Good beers; comfortable setting. Loved the guacamole and swiss burger (huge burger!) and the waffle fries were fresh and delicious. We were in time for happy hour so that was a bonus. Open area with tables in front and a long bar on the right. All four TVs across the back of the bar were showing the same game, so if you were interested in that one, you’d definitely have a good view. Somewhat narrow space across from the bar, but comfortable enough. Just a tad salty, but delicious and satisfying, and good value.

Chicken parmesan burger was delicious, but next time I will just ask for less marinara sauce just so the buns don’t get soggy too fast. My husband loved his burger too… Kids menu available and my picky eater ate her sliders. We know it’s a bar style restaurant and owners do not have the control of customers laughter volume… Just keep in mind, the music & the loud talking/laughing sounds can get overwhelming. We didn’t mind because the food and service were amazing. Hopefully they keep same service and cooks❤️

3 /5 Miatha Pizana: 3•31•25 1st time here, and I was not a fan. Food is ok its not bad, but if you do order what it says, believe me, you wont get it. Although I addressed it to the manager and showed him but before then, the waitress recommend it me this dish to me, and I said, "Are they shysty she said no, its well made." When it arrived, it was just a smudge literally of avocado when the burger reads on the menu Avocado Burger. Smh! So, mgr. It brings me like guacamole in a sm. Cup to add to the burger. Pictures speak for themselves. The other burger was a classic burger about $11.00 it is a bit pricey and $13.00 for an avocado burger, but for the portion, which was none. Hmm, maybe I will give it another shot. Maybe it was just a bad day for the cook. idk. Just check your food before you eat and see if it is what it says.
