2 /5 Ramin: We were not impressed with our visit. The food was very greasy, and the Cajun chicken was not good at all. The fries came out soft and not crispy, and the cheese on the sandwich didn’t taste fresh or good either. When we asked for hot sauce, we were only given a very tiny cup with a small amount of sauce in it. On top of that, the way the bill was handled made us uncomfortable. Our server (Ali) stood right over us while we were paying, clearly expecting a tip. Normally, the card should be charged and the receipt brought back so the customer can decide how to tip on the slip. It felt pushy and not right. Overall, the food and service did not meet expectations.

From the moment we walked in, the vibes were on point fun, welcoming, and full of good energy. The food was absolutely awesome everything came out fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Our waiter went above and beyond, staying attentive without ever being overbearing, which really made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the atmosphere and the service, but 54th Street pulled it off flawlessly. Definitely a five-star experience all around! Highly recommend if you’re in San Marcos and want great food with even better vibes.

5 /5 David Vielma: Your usual name will change from 54th to "5-4" pronounced "five four". This was a very nice visit with the girls. We had a option and chose to sit outside on the patio. It was wonderful Service was great. The drinks were fun and the waiters teamed up to serve 7 of us. I has the pasta Alfredo with chicken..it was HUGE..lots of leftovers.. try the onion rings..they were delish!

4 /5 Alexa: Really good place. The atmosphere was awesome even at 9pm on a Saturday. Quiet enough to talk but still a good amount of people. The staff are also nice and accommodating, no complaints about them at all. Food was a 4/5 for me, I felt like a couple things had a weird seasoning that was not my preference. But everything was cooked perfectly and had wonderful presentation, so I’ll probably return and try more things.

5 /5 snarkyguy: Super trendy and a nice place to eat. The atmosphere reminds me of 1990’s Bennigans but better. I got the chicken friend steak and my wife got the baby back ribs. We also split some fried pickles. Honestly the food was quite good, served hot and fairly quick, and the atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant. I was a bit surprised how quickly everything was served, and even more surprised by the portions. Holy cow! So much for my diet! It’s cool, we have some left over for later tonight. Haha!
