Jabez Harrington I hired this man when I was 22yrs old because my court appointed lawyer failed to let me know about a court date I needed to be at & a warrant was issued. I hired him & told him to not let me get arrested. I paid him half with the agreement that I would pay him the other half at a certain date on paper. Verbally I told him more than once to not let me get arrested. I ended up getting arrested & from there I could te this man only cared about money. Paying him was not a problem, but paying him in an extremely timely manner was. He threatened me to take a plea deal or he would not represent me anymore. I was accused of domestic voilence, theft of a vehicle, and harrassment. I had a full audio tape recording from my ex addmitting she was "mad at me" when she pressed the charges & bent the truth. When he heard it, he said it was not going to help my case at all....which told me he did not listen to it. He told my mother he thought I was guilty & was a smartass kid. I was scared out of my mind at that time walking on eggshells for everyone. I was trying to get into the navy, but no longer could because he forced me to take a plea bargain & lie. He even told me word for word what to say so he could be done with it. My life took a major turn after this for the worse. Never in trouble again with law, but job oppurtunities lost & could nvr get into the military. I tried getting everything exponged from a lawyer named Richard Alamia & he took my money & never committed. Im 32 now & doing fine but still regret letting this man, John Carrington, take advantage because of his greed. Horrible lawyer & should have never became one.
