Benny Benson I really liked the Sunday services when I used to go here (but the temperature was extremely cold so we wore winter clothes every week). The main problem was the youth ministry, I left because of one of the “leaders” who publicly embarrassed me. He asked if anyone had an example of Christian’s dying for their faith excluding events in the Bible. I raised my hand and mentioned an event I had heard about at a Christian summer camp they summer prior. He said, and I quote exactly, “that’s stupid, that didn’t happen. It was probably something you dreamed and thought happened”. Dude, you don’t know everything, if you haven’t heard of an event just say that, I don’t claim to know about every martyr ever, you shouldn’t either. And especially don’t do it in a way that embarrassed a, then 14 year old in front of the entire guys youth group. Our family hasn’t been back since and now goes to Grace church on the other side of Allen which we love, their youth group is much better.

Joyce Walters This is obviously a church that loves the Lord! Friendly, Bible believing church. Offers both acapella and instrumental services with Bible classes in between. The instrumental service is at a reasonable speaker level that doesnt run people out holding their ears. Communion served every Sunday. A midlife singles Bible class which Im attending and enjoying though I am 71 and single. You will feel so at home here!

Jonathan Hau My family recently moved to the DFW area and we were looking for a community to get plugged into. We wanted to be thoughtful about where we would plug in because we knew that wherever we decided, it would shape the course of our friendships, experience in Dallas, and ultimately the direction and focus our family would be oriented in. My wife and I had discussed how important it was to find a church that challenges our minds yet lovingly compels us to obey God. We wanted to find friends in the church who we felt comfortable with yet would lovingly tell us the truth, not just what would please our ears. We also wanted to attend a church that enables our children to learn about what the Bible says and helps our children think carefully about the outcome of their lives. All of these things that mattered to us, we found here. In addition heres what weve discovered: This exemplary church is excellent for anyone who may be looking for a place to understand what the gospel is, learn about the bible, get connected with a community, find support in personal crisis, or just find something to do on a Sunday afternoon. The church services are held typically on Sunday afternoons and consist of about 100 or so people (at the time this was written) from all walks of life. I enjoy the format of the church services because they keep things short, sweet, and to the point. Usually 3 brief songs, scripture reading, some prayer, and a sermon that doesnt put me to sleep. They also have excellent childcare and incredible free coffee!! If youre looking for a church I highly recommend checking out this place and attending for at least 6 weeks to get a good sense for how things are run. Weve been here for almost 5 months now and have found it be a great place to learn and grow spiritually. If you read this review and come for a visit, look for me and say hi! (Im Jon and Im Chinese) You wont find any thumb twiddlers at Zoe!

ANN MBURU I visited this church after covid as its only 6 mins from my house and its a great place to worship. Not everyone is welcoming but I focus on why Im there which is to worship & hear from God. Love the worship & I could listen to Pastor Paul all day! He is a great teacher of the word, he delivers the message in such a way that you can relate & understand. My kids love kids street as well. My usual church is an hour away so Ive found myself going back here more often and love it. If youre looking for a place focused on winning more souls for Christ. This is the place.
