Small Town Mom. This is a true hidden gem! Super yummy food that is priced right with super friendly staff. The pork katsu was sooooo yummy! And the chocolate Bao was mmmmm. Definitely coming back and often!

MacGregor BlackLab I love La Madeline. The food is French Country, so not pretentious French at all. Its simple, very fresh ingredients, the kind of food that a French farm family would make, using their own hand raised and home grown ingredients. The bread is wonderful and crispy on the outside. I had the Toasted Caprese Sandwich this time, with the Creamy Potato Soup. Fresh cheeses, ham, vegetables, and wonderful bread. My husband had the Croque Monsieur sandwich, with ham, cheese, and veggies, and loved it. Ive had the quiche in the past and the tomato basil soup. I can recommend them both. It was a chilly day, so we sat next to the fireplace, with French Cafe music playing lightly in the background. I really enjoy the comfortable atmosphere. Whats not to like?

Pablo Uliver Prado Nice place! The Beef Kabob was a good choice for sure, although it didn’t have too much meat. We paired it with two sides each: hummus and fries for one, pickled veggies and a Greek salad for the other.

Roxana A Been wanting to drop in here for a while as I always pass it on my way back home. I’m so glad I did! I had the Miso Ramen and ordered a Shio as well, both were really tasty. The broth was perfectly flavorful, the bok choy, the scallions, the bean sprouts were all fresh. Not only was this place clean but also really busy! Drop by!

Don Durden My wife and I came here for the first time. It was very good. Food was very fresh and cooked well. Fried fish and chicken were nice and crispy and tasted very fresh. The liver and onions were my favorite, but I love liver and onions. Especially when it’s done right. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was nice. We will definitely be back, and I recommend this to anyone looking for a buffet that doesn’t skimp on quality.

Move with the Moon My favorite restaurant in Tyler! It’s a charming place with exquisite and unique plates! My favorite is ordering a dozen oysters, which are not gulf. They have a great selection of rotating oysters from different locations. I also order the Crab Louis Salad and Lobster Bisque. Both full with flavor and do not skimp on the amount! I will always come here! Beautiful dishes! I have never been disappointed. Their craft cocktails also pair well with all of the food.

Im a pretty picky eater, and I really enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich. My husband had the cowboy burger with fries. Fries were seasoned and crispy. Well be back.

Amber Fowler I come here all the time! I love karaoke night which is Thursdays, but recently my friends and I have started playing dungeons and dragons sunday evenings and Monica has helped us both times. She was awesome. Anything we needed she was quick to bring but did not linger, making us feel comfortable while playing our game. We will request Monice every time now! Good food, good prices and GREAT service!

Dami Ifenuga Very beautiful and chill space, food was incredible and very affordable. Service was impeccable. The sweet tea was the best I ever had honestly. And they have kareoke everyday from 9 or 10pm apparently! You can play the drums or guitar too. 10/10

cchivers1011 We stop here every time we take our son to Louisiana Tech in north Louisiana. Hickory Hill is just outside of Tyler. And has awesome BBQ, ribs are perfect, brisket is perfect, sides are perfect. Weve tried lots and lots of BBQ and I even have my own smoker... and i can only aspire to get it just right EVERY TIME like these guys do. Tiny dining room in the front room, but theres a back room for more guests, as well as patio seating out front (dog friendly!). Dont forget the amazing lemonade, served up in mason jars that you can take home with you when youre done with your amazing BBQ. Husband and wife that run this joint are the sweetest, warmest, most accommodating folks that youre ever going to meet. Theyll treat you right, and they make great, friendly service look easy. They also smoke your holiday meats - put in your order early! PLUS, they cater to anywhere in the Tyler TX area and SHIP anywhere in the world!

Autumn Utt Very welcoming atmosphere. Right off the bat noticed they publicly support first responders and veterans. Ordered the chicken masala and garlic naan. It was delicious! Staff was friendly and attentive. Custom spice levels was also great! We will definitely be returning!

Jermaine Castillo On November 22, 2025, I threw my mother a 50th birthday party. The food was delicious and the waitstaff were so accommodating and patient with our large party. Our waitress named: Katie, Lindsey and Victoria was wonderful. They had great customer service. They not only meet our needs but anticipated them causing the party to run so smoothly. The event coordinator, Sandra, was so helpful in the planning process and was very responsive to all inquiries and concerns since the first call I made a half a year ago. She was very sweet and so nice to work with. Great communication skills. Amazing team.

Chicken Milanese was crispy, tender, and beautifully seasoned, topped with a delectable lemon-caper sauce. Fettuccine Alfredo was incredibly rich and silky, one of the best Alfredo sauces I’ve ever had. Parmesan Stuffed Tomato, an amazing standout! Perfectly roasted with a savory Parmesan topping that melted beautifully and added the perfect burst of flavor. The service was pleasant and attentive, the prices were excellent for the quality and portion sizes, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting with live entertainment singing timeless classics that created the perfect dining ambiance. To make it even more special, Owner Moe personally makes his way to each table, greeting guests and making everyone feel like family. His hospitality is unmatched and adds a personal touch you won’t find anywhere else. Mario’s is an absolute Tyler gem with its authentic Italian cuisine, welcoming atmosphere, and heartfelt service.
