Mid-Tex Federal Credit Union - Brownwood Brandy Mills: I really love all the ladies that work at Mid-tex, so it hurts me to write a negative review, but their policies and systems are just so outdated and expensive. The PopMoney system needs to be removed from the member area because Mid-Tex has no control over it and it is a horribly reviewed system that charges insanely high fees and is confusing to use. Aside from the wonderful gals that work there, my experience with Mid-Tex as a financial institution in the past has just been horrible. When my checks were stolen, it took me forever just to get half of the overdraft fees waived. Ive done better with big banks than I have with Mid-Tex. Its sad because they have a great staff.
