Planet Fitness - Wichita Falls (TX)

1 /5 Christel House: Never in my life have I been interrupted without someone asking if equipment in use was done being used. Especially when so many open areas were available. I had a horrible experience with an elderly lady and trainer today. I get it age is a huge factor but so is patience if you’re wanting that area. I will be letting others know about not only the experience, but the rudeness of trainer.

2 /5 Abby Gresham: I wanted to share some feedback about an interaction I had recently at your location. While I understand and respect the policy about proper footwear, I felt the way it was addressed during my workout could’ve been handled more professionally. An employee climbed onto the stair machine right next to mine, waved directly in front of my face to get my attention, and told me about the policy while I was actively working out with headphones in. It felt abrupt and a bit embarrassing, especially with people around. In the future, I think a quick, private conversation after a workout would go a long way in maintaining a positive, respectful environment. Just wanted to share this in hopes it helps improve communication for others too.

5 /5 Trucker Kearsey: Easy in and out parking for tractor trailers. Clean. The only problem i have with Planet Fitness is no towels. Liked the variety of machines in the 30 min circuit. They were different from those in other states i have been to. Most of the employees at any PF are young and not very outgoing or welcoming. They will answer questions.. but it is rare for any to say "welcome" or "can i help you". Customer service goes a long way. Aqua bed 1 is broken.

4 /5 ChannaMoo ChannaMoo: 7pm on a Friday and the place is pretty empty. Each time I’ve been here it’s been this way, which I don’t mind. However there are the same people monopolizing the same weight machines around this time of day. I plan on trying an early morning this next week. Fingers crossed. Staff is friendly, they keep up with cleaning. I feel safe here and the equipment is alright. That’s why I deducted a star. It would be nice if the equipment connected to the smart watches like other PF locations. But I am happy the stair masters have fans on them. I will come again, even when I have the option of gym access in my hotel.

5 /5 Anthony C.: Jacoby at the front desk is very friendly and professional - an excellent choice to represent this business. Easy to talk with, very knowledgeable about customer care and experience, and he consistently walks the gym and checks in with ALL gym goers. This gym is a very well kept area. All of the sanitation stations are stocked, the bathroom/locker room is clean, and the equipment is good to go. I have two other gym memberships in Wichita Falls, and this one is another solid option in the line up. At 4:30 am this place is perfect. Open 24/7 (WEEKENDS!) is THE selling point. Could use more free weight options - still enough equipment that you can get in a good workout - the dumbbells only go up to 75lbs, and along with the curl bars, they honestly look outdated. As far as everything else (treadmills, stationary bikes, machines, etc.) the equipment is well maintained and functions as they should. Very impressed. Wish I would’ve gave Planet Fitness a try sooner!
