4 /5 Gavin Martinez: Here’s my honest experience after returning to my old gym after 4 years:
I originally left because the building closed early, and I was paying close to $90 a month. Since then I’ve been to Trufit, Crunch, Gym Culture, and Club 4.
I recently moved back into the area and decided to give this gym another chance since it’s only a few minutes from me. There’s another gym just as close, but the biggest reason I came back here was the equipment. It’s new, well-kept, and a huge upgrade from what it used to be. The remodel really impressed me more space, way more machines, and everything feels clean, modern, and taken care of.
Another major improvement is the price. Dropping the membership to $45 is a huge change from what it used to be, and honestly a much more reasonable rate for what you get.
The owner was extremely welcoming when I reached out, even offering me a free trial and genuinely encouraging me to come back. Tonight when I came in, a staff member was there and got my key tag set up quickly. She didn’t give a tour, but she was actively cleaning, which is something this gym has always been good about cleanliness is clearly a priority.
My only downside so far is the temperature inside. It was warmer than expected, and I’m someone who struggles working out in the heat. Even when it’s cool outside, people dress for the weather and expect the gym itself to stay comfortable. I felt a little gassed earlier than usual because of how warm it was.
Other than that, everything else has been solid. The new equipment, the remodel, and the price drop all make a huge difference. If the temperature gets dialed in a bit more, this would easily be a 5-star experience.
