5 /5 Linda Burkhart: As always, my experience at Magpie’s was exceptional! I am always greeted with warmth and kindness, as I am welcomed into the store! The family atmosphere is a plus for me, which makes it very comfortable to shop. I’m always impressed with the product knowledge of the employees and their willingness to suggest just the perfect gift when needed.

3 /5 Julianna: This place has very cute merchandise but I always feel unwelcome when I visit. The staff appears to focus on blonde and well dressed clientele while ignoring everyone else.

1 /5 Michelle Chang: I really hate to leave such low reviews, but this place really does a terrible job of making you feel unwelcome if you don’t look a certain way. Today I was halfway through browsing the store today before someone acknowledged me. All the while hearing welcomes and hellos to others that looked differently than me. This is not a one off— I’ve been here many times because I love to support local shops and want to support this store, but they make it really difficult to step foot in here.

2 /5 Patricia P: Nice store but apparently if you aren’t one their preferred customers, don’t expect to be greeted or assisted. I was looking for Brighton jewelry and was browsing for a full 10 minutes- NO ONE greeted me, much less asked if I needed any help. Should it be the customer’s responsibility to fend for themselves in a high end establishment? Guess so. I left. After reading so many earlier reviews about this store’s lack of customer service, it seems no one there cares to make amends, judging by my treatment today. Why apologize if nothing is remedied??

1 /5 Mary Dozier: I go back because I love the clothes but hate the staff. Rude. I was looked up and down right when I walk through the door! I have spent allot of money in this store but the staff treat you so bad. They assume you do not have money. I needed an outfit for the next day. I found one but was so put off, I walked out. I might try a different store. More people should leave these types of reviews, if thats how they were treated. I noticed that no one will respond to an unpleasant review. Its really sad. They missed out on a $300 sale.
