1 /5 Jerry sanchez: I had a minor case that started in March for which I then hired Roy Scott to represent me. He charged me $2000 and told me he would begin working on the case and provide updates. It’s December now and Roy Scott and his paralegals have ghosted me at every chance that I tried to reach out for an update.
Due to a lack of updates from Mr. Scott I believe I’m justified in feeling cheated out of my legal fee. Perhaps Mr. Scott doesn’t prioritize all his client equally, which I understand since he’s running a business, but that doesn’t excuse the deplorable attention that I think my case has received.
In all honesty, it’s lamentable that I have to make this post at all. I’ve been a kid that has wanted to be an attorney his whole life and now seeing how some attorneys value their clients, makes me want become a lawyer that will treat clients less as checks and more as people.
