    Dj Sparks: This isnt just a gym, its a place to rebuild your mind body and soul. The people that come here are friendly and outgoing. You have young people mixed with old cats like me. I get advice from Alex G who is one of the professional body builders. Hes the most down to earth guy and always cool to talk to. The moment you walk in you can tell this is a professional gym It has a clean smell and all the equipment is kept exceptionally clean. There is a machine for every part of the body to work on and my favorite is its always open. So happy to be a part of Golden Era Gym.

    One Fine Day: I love Anytime Fitness! This is a great location that is not huge but has everything you need to get the job done! The environment is not intimidating for beginners but has everything a seasoned gym goer would want. My trainer Rae is the best ever! Highly recommend working with her. She truly cares about her work and clients. Can’t even begin to describe what a blessing it has been to train with Rae!

Both her classes and Teri’s are great for all levels and I looked forward to them each week. They have created an incredible community of women and it was so special to be a part of that.     Joshua Reiss: I did a three day drop in and enjoyed the experience. This is a good sized box with a large rig and plenty of bars and weights. There is a large free weight area as well for oly lifting. There are a good number of bikes and rowers as well that are in good shape. Instructors are all CF level 1 certified and helpful. Plenty of locker space. Gym seems to foster a pretty good “community” which is also nice. This is closer to the freeway than the strand so may be a good drop place for those staying closer to 61st street or west side of the island. Will be back!

    Brian Pond: I loved hitting this gym while in town for a month. It’s not huge but not tiny either, and it was never crowded, but always had a half dozen people or so working out when I’d come. Friendly staff. Very clean. Nice locker rooms, showers. Machines and free weights, pretty much anything you’d want. Good prices. I bought the $10 fob so I can come whenever I want, and it’s linked to my account for next year. Can’t ask for much more!

    g wolk: Best thing about this place is the location. This gym is essential 1 step above a hotel gym. Very, very old equipment with limited free weights. Ceiling is too low to do pull ups. 1 smith machine but no barbell rack. Pretty clean and I like that they have a coffee machine and ice machine.

    Colin Silvia: I went for my first day today and was mistaken for another group of guys who went to the gym without day pass. During my workout I was barked at aggressively by a short guy with grey hair who sits at the front. I had the website open to get my pass and the way he treated us made me think that this gym wasn’t for me. We said “yeah well they lost us, we’re not coming back here”. We finished our workout in the parking lot because we didn’t want to let some grumpy old man ruin our morning. Good gym. But that guy will ruin your day if you’re not a local who goes everyday. Mean, lonely and grumpy. Hopefully he finds peace and welcomes people to the gym a little more. Cheer up man. Life’s to short.
