Fred Loya Insurance - Lubbock (TX)

1 /5 Maria De La Garza: Horribly disappointed. The customer service was incredibly rude, with one of the employees stating "Im incapable of making a mistake." Their policy is we are right and you are wrong. Their billing dates are also very suspicious and conversations are not kept on record, so there is no way that there would be any evidence of any wrong doing on their part. They are all about protecting themselves from any possibility of being at fault and not so much in helping the customer. After recently reading the increasingly numerous reviews from message boards, looking back I wish I had read them sooner so that I would have made a better and more informed decision in choosing auto insurance. For the potential Fred Loya customer, save yourself the hassle and disrespect from this insurance company.

1 /5 Courtney Jarrett: Called them on the 5th to make sure everything was ok, as Wells Fargo as been returning my payments. I got told everything was good and I would be contacted if there was a problem. Days went by and I finally got a call on the 11th to one them telling me that my policy was cancelling that day. I was not able to do anything until the 20th when I got paid. I asked why I was not contacted sooner and told her about the conversation I had with the other girl. I was told that they were to busy to call and they only do those calls if they are not busy. She also stated to me that there was a note saying I would call the next day to see if it was ok. I asked her if calls were recorded, she said yes. I told her get someone to listen to that call, cause I was specifically told I would get a call the next day if something was wrong, but I did not get a call until days later when my policy was being cancelled. Had I known there was an issue the next day I couldve corrected it.

Cheapest full coverage insurance ever! Give Victoria a promotion and raise because she definitely raised the bar on great customer service. Thanks so much!

5 /5 Lady Reaper: People there are really nice they help you out dont have to wait long. They tell you the best price and tell you what your choices are to help you fit your life style. They call and let you know about your appointment with them. Very nice people to work with at fred loya

1 /5 Kelby Doss: This is the most pathetic company known to man. I agree with the other review that you better pray to your deity you never get into a wreck with someone who has Fred Loya. Was rear-ended 2 months ago by someone insured through them, they offered $200 for a bumper and sent me a check. I took it to a shop, come to find out the frame is bent on the vehicle. They tell me $1,000 to repair (the mechanic shop) so I send that into Fred Loya, they send the same adjuster and he tells me itll be a total loss. They make the truck a total loss, 2 months later the truck is now repairable after I threaten Small Claims (After offering only $4,000 on a $7,000 vehicle). Now I am fighting to take it back to a total loss because a bent frame is unsafe and the vehicle value will be gone with a bent frame thats been fixed. The adjuster I was given has been the rudest person I have ever spoken with. I had to speak with his supervisor the first time he acted like he did. (This was when it was a $200 offer) .... Then they made it a total loss and I got someone else in the total loss department, then back to this person again when it became repairable and I had to speak with his supervisor again. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and if you do get in a wreck, expect to go to court. They will try to rip you off at every corner. They use CCC One to get the value on your vehicle, be aware of the vehicles that are selling in your surrounding area, they will drop the value on the vehicle that is worth the most in the "mileage" area hoping you wont notice. The vehicle they compared it to had 126K miles, at a value of $8,000 and tried to drop it in value over $2,000 for 126K miles (For the year model the price should of went UP $$750 or so) but the other truck that had 210K miles went up in value from its original of $4,000 to $4,210 (210K added $210 and 126K reduced another vehicle over $2,000, how does that make sense!?) ...... Be wary and watch out, they will try to rip you off. I cannot stand this company and when you are hit by someone with Fred Loya, please feel free to take it to a shop and see what they have to say about Fred Loya. Heck, ask around town before even purchasing from them about how "good" they are. Everyone will laugh and tell you how bad they truly are.
