I selected a gold-colored pair of earrings, but during billing, the staff member helping me had trouble scanning the barcode. After trying multiple times with no success, she scanned a silver pair instead just to complete the billing process. Unfortunately, she ended up packing the silver earrings instead of the gold ones I had originally chosen.
When I returned to the store to explain the mix-up and request an exchange, the staff refused to help, simply stating that earrings are non-returnable or non-exchangeable. I completely understand hygiene policies, but in this case, I hadn’t worn the earrings, and the mistake clearly happened at their end during billing and packing.
What’s more frustrating is how casually the staff brushed off my concern without taking any responsibility or even trying to assist. I expected better service and accountability. This experience has made me hesitant to shop here again.
