1 /5 Liz Montgomery: I’ve been going to this gym since it opened and have had nothing but good experiences until now. Now, I no longer feel safe and supported by this gym and will not be returning. I had my bag stolen from the locker room Sunday night and filed a police report. Although on the website it claims that the management can provide surveillance footage to help me figure out who stole my stuff, the manager did not help me at all. I had talked to multiple employees both last night and this Monday morning and they all said the manager has to unlock the camera footage, but upon asking him and calling his number directly, I was answered with very rude and short responses and he did not provide me with any information on how to help. It seemed like I was being dismissed and they did not provide me with any contact information for anyone that could assist me. According to the offer and detective that are assigned to my case, apparently Samuel does not cooperate with police and they have dealt with multiple instances of theft where the manager does not want to help the customers. To me, it seems like they are trying to protect the thieves and do not really care about their customers. This place made me love coming to the gym and was a great escape for me after losing my job a month ago. But now, I do not feel supported by the staff here and will be joining another gym. I am so beyond disappointed and devastated in how this was handled. Just wanted to warn people that there has been a lot of theft here (officer said at least one a week recently) so you never know if your stuff will be taken next.
