3 /5 Bennie Thompson: My honest unbiased review after being a member for a year. I initially wanted to give them a two star rating, but I feel like two stars would be considered below average. I believe Dynamic fitness deserves a three star rating which would be considered average. Of course, four stars would be above average with five stars being well above average. The process to join was very well thought out and informative. Ultimately, I decided to join because you could bring a friend with you on Saturdays at no additional charge. A few times over the past year that I was in the area and able to attend the app did not work. They just let me in. Probably because it was so late at night. If it wasn’t the app, it was the reader at the front desk. It seemed like there was always an issue with signing in. I eventually just stopped attending. I’m also not a very big fan of paying biweekly. There should be a single monthly charge. Paying biweekly gives the illusion that it’s less expensive than it actually is. There are also about three months during the year where you get charged three times in the same month when paying biweekly. I don’t know why I didn’t think about that when I signed up. Whenever I attempted to go to the website, for some reason, it would take me to Planet Fitness instead of Dynamic Fitness. I know some of these gyms share website code but this was kind of ridiculous. It made it nearly impossible to get things situated remotely. I felt like anything that needed to be done. Had to be done on location. So when I finally made the decision to cancel my membership on location, they told me I had to do it online via email, even though that was very simple. It was also very impersonal.
