She seems more interested in money than in helping those who truly need it. Kathy, do better! Update to Kathys response You convicted me before we even spoke. I had no chance to explain my actions. In fact, I had to plead with you to listen to me but it didnt matter. You cannot, in good conscience, deny the level of help you provided was affected by monetary gains. As Ive stated, other lawyers I spoke with affirmed this statement to be true. So please dont try to explain your actions away. I had a story to tell but it didnt matter. You and I both watched the same footage, right there, in your office but you had already pegged me as guilty so it didnt even matter. Under the duress of confinement, and seeing how you already convicted me before we spoke, I got railroaded. I stand firmly on my words.

    Charley Knight: Janet Traylor was my "court appointed" lawyer. be really careful with her for she does not want to get you free. she wants to get the pay for putting you behind bars. withholding evidence that could set you free. plus ellis county wont let you use the law library and keeps you in jail longer than you need to be. she showed up late to a court and had someone stand in that wouldnt let me talk to the judge or wait for her to get in to court to proceed. even her secretary quit on her because she refused to get the evidence videos to the court and prosecutor. be aware of this one. if it would let me i would give her zero stars.

    Steve Bolgiano: Mr. Jenkins is a very out standing man with impeccable character. He graduated from Baylor law school and I think served on the board of regents at Baylor University. My cousin also graduated from Baylor and he too, is a respected man in Ellis county. I have decided to post this review so anyone else in Ellis county that gets him as a court appointed attorney can read this. I can tell you without a doubt that he will NOT represent you and that he does exactly what the DA tells him to. All attorneys are officers of the court first, and represent their clients second. But in my opinion, he is an officer of the court and does exactly what the DA wants regardless of the best interest of his "client." I was prepared to pay the top of the scale as far as the fine goes ($4,000) spend some time in jail, and be done with my mistake in Ellis county. But on my court date, it was "crammed down my throat " that I would pay a $950 fine with 2 years probation. Like I told him the first day we met, I, Steve Bolgiano am not a candidate for probation, but here I am. So if my probation gets "violated," I wonder if he will represent me for free. I seriously doubt it. Good luck to you.
