    Brenda: I took a sapphire and diamond ring there to remove the stones and sell the 14 karat gold. The price of gold was up. They said I had to leave it there for a couple of days because they were backed up. When I return to retrieve my stones and the money for the gold The diamonds were much smaller than what I had in The ring. I Told them and they said oh diamonds look much larger when they’re in a setting than they actually are. Then when I wanted to get the check for the gold, they only paid me for 10 K gold and I told them it was 14 karat gold the rest of my money they said well we’re not gonna give you 14 karat gold because we’ve got to make some money somehow that’s why we paid you for 10 karat gold. They scammed me and stole my bigger diamonds. Please do not go there and trust them with your jewelry and if you do you better be careful cause they will scam you somehow.

    Lowell Unruh: So this bracelet goes back to before my parents were married. It’s nearly 70 years old. Being fairly new to Boerne and never having to have jewelry repaired I resorted to doing a Google search. Armando‘s name came up with some standing reviews and ranking. I took this piece in and we discussed replacing the bracelet since it was uniquely broken but with a little convincing, Armando decided he might be able to repair it versus replacing the bracelet. Needless to say he did a five star job. No doubt it is not an every day occurrence for a Rolex quality craftsman to have an opportunity to repair a simple bracelet. His desire to please, and to do an exceptional job came through; well done Armando!

    george martinez: Came in after work and wasn’t even acknowledged. Totally avoided even when standing in front of them. They were greeting people and offering help to the people who came after me. I was in my work clothes and to them it seemed I wasn’t worth their time I guess. Very disappointed and will never step foot in that store again.

    DJ K: Had jewelry taken in to this place and the condition was worse coming out than when going in. Had to have it serviced twice and the third time they claim will call when the owner returns. He is the owner. Spoke to us with lots of words and knowledge but with little action to address the concerns. Would never allow jewelry to be taken to this "business" again. Took to another jeweler they inspected the jewelry and stated some of the work we paid to be done was not done. Waited for Taj Mahal to contact us but it didnt happen. It would cost more to litigate this so we took the loss for what it is. Be careful out there. Not all that glitters is gold
