1 /5 Jia Tang: I had a very disappointing experience with Sammy’s jewelry service. I purchased a $3,000 Centenario with a “customized” bezel, but it turned out to be poorly made, with jewels falling out multiple times. Despite paying over $7,000 for the item, I had to bring it in repeatedly for repairs. Each time, I was charged additional fees, including $40 to shorten a $2,000 rope chain—something I’ve never experienced with other legitimate jewelry companies.
To make matters worse, the Centenario eventually fell out of the bezel altogether. Upon inspection, I discovered that it had been glued in with superglue, which was both sloppy and unprofessional. The glue was visible and even had a green tint to it. I brought the piece to another dealer, and they were shocked by the poor craftsmanship.
Additionally, I ordered a customized bracelet for my daughter, and the first letter (“J”) was nearly invisible, due to careless work and improper alignment.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. After my experience, I was able to get a new bezel elsewhere for half the price I paid for the “customized” one. I regret giving them my business and strongly caution others to be wary.
