Thrive Fitness Studio - Frisco
Dylan Truesdale: Thrive Fitness Studio has been a game-changer for me, completely transforming the trajectory of my athletic career. The facility is top-notch, but it’s the people that make it truly special. Alan, my trainer, is world-class. His expertise and knowledge has pushed me to levels I didn’t think were possible. He knows how to dial in the details while keeping the big picture in mind, and his coaching style is equal parts motivating and strategic. If you’re serious about fitness and want to see real progress, this is the place to be. Can’t recommend it enough!
Fire Fitness Frisco - Frisco
Kelli Banks: Paul is a great trainer. He has pushed me so much and really made me want to go harder. I just wish I had found him sooner! I will be training with him for a long time
Cowboys Fit - Frisco
Cowboys Fit
Sadie White: I have been training here for about 10 years! I moved to Houston and still come train when I am in town. Lynn is the very best and so extremely knowledgeable. She has helped me build my dream body for my wedding and I have gained so much confidence. Cowboys fit is also the nicest, cleaniest, friendliest gym I have ever been to. It is my favorite place to stop when I am in town and I always have the best time.
Anytime Fitness - Frisco
Yuri: DO NOT SIGN UP, They add extra charges to your account. Planet fitness is 15$ a month not 50$ and they have way more equipment than a strip mall gym.
Frisco Athletic Center - Frisco
Frisco Athletic Center
Brittany Smith: My kids and I went here for the first time the other day. The prices were fair, everything was clean. The pool was nicely kept. The snack bar had multiple options to choose from and weren’t super expensive.
Apex Fitness - Frisco - Frisco
Brittani Ramirez: Apex Fitness is hands down the best decision I’ve made for my fitness journey! From the moment I walked in, Brad (the owner) made me feel welcomed and supported. He truly goes above and beyond—always willing to work with you, answer questions, and make sure everything is set up for your success. You can tell he genuinely cares about his members, and that makes a huge difference. Maria is absolutely incredible as a coach. She pushes me to be better every single day, but also takes the time to break everything down so I fully understand the workouts and movements. She has the perfect balance of encouragement and accountability, which keeps me motivated and improving week after week. What I love most is how both Brad and Maria constantly check in on us and create such a positive, motivating environment. They make every workout feel purposeful and fun. I actually left my regular day-to-day gym because nothing compared to the workouts, support, and results I’m getting here at Apex Fitness. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll get real results, amazing coaching, and owners who truly care about you—Apex Fitness is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough!
LA Fitness - Frisco
LA Fitness
Pankaj Sanap: I am extremely disappointed with the service at this LA Fitness location and would give zero stars if I could. Over the past week, I tried multiple times to cancel my membership before my billing date, and I was met with nothing but runaround and excuses. Every time I called or visited, I was told that the manager wasn’t available and that no one else had the authority to process cancellations. They kept giving me different times to come back, and each time I showed up, it was the same story again. It became very clear they were intentionally delaying me until my billing date passed so they could charge me for another month. When I first joined, the staff were polite and welcoming. But the moment I mentioned cancellation, their behavior changed completely — they became dismissive, rude, and even argumentative. Instead of simply helping me cancel, they tried to pressure me into keeping the membership, and at one point, even raised their voices. This kind of attitude is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. After nearly a week of trying, they waited until after my billing date to finally process the cancellation. My card was charged for another full month, and when I questioned it, they said I could either continue using the gym for that extra month or dispute the charge with my bank — which could negatively affect my banking profile. Why should a customer have to go through all that just to cancel a membership? To make matters worse, the website’s cancellation feature doesn’t actually work — it just gets stuck on the submission page. So even though they claim there’s an online option, it’s completely useless. A Warning to Others: If you’re considering joining this gym, please be cautious and ask detailed questions about the cancellation process before signing up. What looks simple at first might turn into a nightmare later. I’m not saying LA Fitness as a brand is bad, but this particular location’s management and customer service are absolutely terrible. They care more about squeezing one more payment out of you than treating customers with honesty and respect. Save yourself the frustration — look for a gym that values transparency and respects your time.
Planet Fitness - Frisco
Dany Lopez: I am happy to find a Planet Fitness near my house. The gym has great machines, is very clean, and just bit crowded. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making each visit enjoyable. The only downside is there’s no group classes, I liked the Manager Jay he was very profesional . Overall, it’s a great place to work out, and I highly recommend it.
Planet Fitness - Frisco
Aku Sm: I was surprised and happy to find a Planet Fitness near my house. The gym has great machines, is very clean, and isn’t crowded. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making each visit enjoyable. The only downside is there’s no water dispenser and just one water fountain, and a limited number of lockers, which can be inconvenient during busy times. Overall, it’s a great place to work out, and I highly recommend it.
Planet Fitness - Frisco
fresca123456: This was a pretty miserable showering experience. For a large metropolitan area, they should really take better care of their facilities. This place was absolutely not maintained at all. When after eight or so minutes the shower water became cold, I moved to the next shower; and then after eight or so minutes of that shower becoming cold, I moved to a third shower. None of the showers had ample water pressure in a town that where it’s been pouring rain for the last few weeks, and where rivers and lakes are abundant. The toilet pressure, however, sounded like a supersonic jet taking off and would reduce the minimal water pressure in the shower even more. The shower water also smelled like sewage. In one of the showers I was forced to use, components were coming away from the wall. As if that were not enough, when I was finally done taking a shower, I plugged in my blow dryer into each of the four outlets in the women’s locker room and nothing was coming out of my blow dryer. After several minutes of this testing, I went into the sink area and saw that there were outlets in there and decided to try. let’s just say the one where the sink area was driest because the sink was out of order. My blow dryer performed wonderfully, so one can only conclude that there was something wrong with all four outlets in the women’s locker room proper. When I went back to the car to meet my husband who had been taking a shower at the same time, he claimed that the men’s locker room has similar issues - low water pressure, water becoming cold quickly, and flickering lights as if he was at a rave the entire time, such that he was afraid he’d have to use the flashlight on his phone to see.
