charlene inman This was our first time here and we werent sure what to expect. Its a lovely reclaimed area. The trails are generously sized for walking/biking, though some of the ones around the water are narrow foot paths. The plant life is abundant, we did see a number of water birds, not as much of others. Being the weekend (Mothers Day) there were lots of people fishing, crabbing, some picnicking, especially in the areas where you can drive. In the trails-only section, there were fewer amenities and large areas without bathrooms for some distance. That was the reason for the 4 star, along with the trash along some of the paths and trails. There was even a large yoga mat stuck in a bush along one of the paths, food trash, etc. I realize that unfortunately there are those who will use and abuse without care, but its still disheartening to see. But overall it was a lovely visit, a beautiful day for a long walk and enjoying Gods creation!

Undrea Hines Expansive Park with awesome trails and hidden gems everywhere. Fishing seemed to be popular too by the number of men out there fishing. Would be a great place for events, family reunions, weddings & such. Wild, but really accessible too. Bring a cooler with drinks & snacks, bait or whatever to get the most out of your stay. I enjoyed myself discovering all the lil nooks and crannies. Will definitely return.

Mike He I was glad that I found Baytown Nature Center when I was in town trying to find a place to go to and have fun. This beautiful place with spectacular views didnt let me down, though a few dilapidated fishing piers need to be repaired or renovated. The nature center is a perfect place for fishing, bird watching, picnic and other family activities. Due to time constraints, I didnt get a chance to hike on many of its nature trails. That might give me a reason to go back.

Yi Feng Nice and quiet on a Sunday morning. Beautiful water view and a good place for bird watching. I saw people crabbing and fishing there as well. There is a pavilion on a hill that you can have the 360 view of the entire nature center.
