Jennifer Broyles Arrived at 4:30 and was told by a lady coming out that she could not help us because it was after 5:00 and the register was closed even though store hours say 6:00. She was carrying out strollers and obviously didn’t care about making a sale. Locked the door and left us sitting in the parking lot. We made a special trip to find a Merle Norman for a present. So make sure if you want help go early before it’s even close to closing time!! We went an hour and a half early and apparently that wasn’t enough!

Patricia Ann Crain Very impressive place! My 5 year Rottweiler has lived outside his whole life and had never had a bath. They handled him beautifully and I believe he actually enjoyed it. These people are very good with dogs. It is very clean and the people are the best!!

Andy Pritchett I took my two dogs in this morning to be groomed. One of my dogs hates to get her nails clipped and I really didn’t think they’d be able to do it, but they did and painted them. They both smell so good. We will be taking them back. I wish I could post a picture.

James DeVaughn Im an army veteran and a current student at Diamonds Cosmetology College. My experience as a student thus far has exceeded my expectations. My intentions when enrolling as a barber student were to gain the skills needed to cut my sons hair, but Ive learned so much more. Diamonds College is very veteran friendly making it easy to enroll using education benefits. Ms Christine Williams who teaches the theory course is awesome. Shes extremely patient and knowledgeable making my transition into this new industry less stressful.

Stacee Sloan-Caskey Bella Craven was UPTOWN today. By that I mean she is everything you would get in Dallas, right here in Sherman! I could not decide what to do, highlights, or just a cut. She was poised with confidence and gave me options. I totally trusted her! I love my new do! Thank you Bella!

Amanda White Dirty store and really bad customer service. I was in the store all of less than 10 minutes but the whole time Im in the store I hear banging on the aisle behind me. As Im walking up to the register all the stuff on the Shelf where the banging came from fell down I guess they were trying to do a reset on shelves themselves.. this is a Sunday 12:00 noon during summer. I feel like I really inappropriate time to be doing something like this when everything fell other customers offered to help clean at the mess. When I arrive at the register one of the girls stopped what she was doing on the reset to come ring me up. Understandably she seems irritated. Seems like during store hours the focus would be customer service not resetting a Shelf. My total came to over $34. I was told that she couldnt break a hundred. In the middle of a day, on a weekend... during Summer?? Most likely because the manager was busy doing a reset and didnt want to stop what she was doing to assist or be bothered breaking the bill. The little sulking girl at the register didnt ask or even look in her drawer. She just said she couldnt take it. I ended up having to have things taken off for the total to be low enough for me to cover it with the small bills that I had. The whole experience was unprofessional. Theres way too many Beauty Supply options these days for stores to be lacking in customer service and to be dirty..

Michele Kramer I’m a newer customer to Lana’s Spa. I wanted l eyebrows and decided on eyeliner also. I get lovely compliments often and recommend her. She’s knowledgeable and professional. I was a little scared of the needles, never had a tattoo, but she relaxed me and made the procedure very tolerable. It’s been wonderful working with her, and making sure that my eyebrows and eyeliner get the touchups that they need or if we decide to go thicker and darker we do. I recommend Lana if you want to get permanent make up. She’s a pro with permanent makeup

Ann Groner Love my new brows! Lana is so caring and knowledgeable, and talks you through the whole process. She really pays attention to the details of your face and shapes the brows for YOU, not what is trendy right now. Cannot recommend her enough!

Gail Farmer I have been going to Lana for over 10 years. She has done my eyebrows, eyeliner and Sherry has done my facials. I moved to Fort Worth and tried someone else for my eyebrows and was very disappointed and they did not offer a complimentary touch up like Lana does. Just recently had my eyeliner done again with Lana and highly recommend her.

Mary arnold Nina is awesome! She takes her time and does a great job. Steve is a good owner in that he makes sure everyone gets exactly what they want before you leave.

Sandy Fuller I am from Austin, but we are on a road trip and we were in the area and I needed a pedicure so I stopped here and they were really super nice and did an excellent job. Probably one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had and very reasonably priced. They did a great massage. Everything was clean and the equipment was sterile. Highly recommend.

Nina Zapatero Went in for dip/nexgen nails and basic pedicure. She first tried to clip off my natural nail. $50 for basic Nexgen- top coat started flaking off as soon as I left due to her using solar as top coat on nexgen. Will not be coming back here. If you’re picky about your nails- don’t come here. Guy who did toes did okay. $30 for basic pedicure.

Brent Sauvageau First time getting a pedicure. I chose the above average treatment, and was thoroughly pleased! Tons of callous off my feet and finally trimmed my bear-claws! Towards the end, she offered to paint my toenails! That was a HARD NO!!!!!! I might have a new pampering day in the near future! Maybe every 3-4 months!! My feet feel so much better too!!!!!!! Highly recommend this place!

asia yancey I called for an appointment. Got me in right away. Friendly customer service. Offered me a nice cool water and treated me with kindness. Very happy with the cleanliness of the establishment. Got a full set of nexgen and a pedicure for a great price. Anxious to see how long they last will update my review. Update; only wore nails for a week. Have lost several like they are those glue on.

Kaley Sunny is a sweet and amazing expert! I had a wonderful experience with lash extensions for a wedding - the process was so nice and the results were awesome, not to mention they lasted for 4 weeks and still looked great! I highly recommend Sunny for her personable and kind demeanor :) She is flexible in her schedule and does incredible work - I look forward to going back!

Toi Porter My lashes always look amazing. Sunny does a wonderful job. I was new to the area and very reluctant with letting just anyone work on my lashes. I took a chance with Sunny and was not disappointed. Her lashes are great quality and light weight. Sometimes I forget that I even have them on. To top it off, she is super sweet. I would definitely recommend Sunny for your lash extensions!

They were always either a bit too long or a bit too short, a bit too full or a bit to thin, a bit too straight, etc. Sunny was the first to give me exactly what I wanted and I will not use anyone else again. In addition to the beautiful lashes, she has an extremely gentle touch. She is flexible with her schedule and punctual. If all that wasn’t enough, she has a wonderful personality and I always look forward to catching up with her. Our conversations make the time fly by. Justin Welsh Seriously the worst service I’ve ever had. We came in with family to celebrate my niece getting married, the gentleman was so careless and rude I sat through the pedicure bawling. Got to my nails and he trimmed them and painted but no filling, no shaping, no care at all with the paint. So disappointed.

Dawn Alletto Went there for the first and last time today. I went with a friend and my daughter in law and was there when they opened the doors. My daughter in law had a full set put on first while my friend and i had pedicures. They were so bad that the manager took the nails off and redid them. Then we had to wait for the manager to do ours. It took 4 hours to get us done and we were still charged for my daughter in laws nails. They charged 15 extra for my friend and I to get decals put on that I brought. We will.never go back.

Anna R In the moment, I enjoyed my experience at 5-Star Nail & Spa. The staff is kind, great color selections, and there was almost no one there at around 10am during the week. i got a gel mani and pedi. the pedi looks perfect but i noticed after the fact that they did NO cuticle work on my hands. they should have been pushed back and trimmed my cuticles. so now the gel is already coming up at the cuticle (2 days later) and look cheap and messy.

Leensey the women that do nails, feet , and brows are racist: they use derogatory insults when they feel you don’t understand. the ladies there ruined my brows so bad i’ve had to just completely shave them off. i understand that this place was in a low income community, but not even those who are low income deserve services like this.

We are very happy with our service here and always manage to MAKE OUR APPOINTMENT to be seen and taken care of. My son is by far very happy with his barber and talks him through what he’s doing and how to style his hair. The others make sure we are taken care of while we are waiting for our appointment. I really appreciate the professionalism is this place and highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Danyale Lantz I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for a little over 3 years. Love it! I moved recently so I decided to give Katy a try because she had so many great reviews, but I shouldn’t have. She’s sweet as can be, but I developed a skin bacteria infection the day after my wax. 48 hrs post wax, I ended up going to the doctor for antibiotics. It’s been the most unpleasant experience.

Chris Mobbs I havent had great experiences with massages in the past. I workout everyday and really needed a more aggressive massage to help with some myofascial release. I did the Trigger Point Therapy and she managed to create a combination of uncomfortable (which I signed up for) and pleasant. Great environment - very professional. Just booked a follow up appointment in two weeks.

Jennifer Harris I went here for a MLD massage which was great. I was excited after waiting for a long time to finally get in. Purchased some gift cards. Tried to book a deep tissue massage and had errors out many times so I gave up planning to call when I had time. I got back from a funeral and woke up this morning to a bill for a missed appointment. I called immediatly and explained how it errored out many times to the point I gave up trying to book. The lady was rude and short "Ill talk to the owner". I said I can come now and as I been sitting here twiddling my thumbs all morning and would have loved a massage after a tense weekend. Not going to be spoke to like im a child by what seemed like a teenager (i sure hope it was a teen with the attutude because an adult - wow) At this point they can keep all the money on the gift cards and I wont bother. Fix the system of glitches to avoid future problems but mostly lose the damn attitude when people are trying to make an effort. I didnt have to call and I can ignore this $130 fee for something I didnt get confirmation of booking. Damned if you do and damned if you dont huh?
