Mikala Teagle Where do I begin...I love it here! Ive been going to Amanda consistently for about six now and I have no plans of going anywhere else. Amanda is an amazing and gifted hair stylist. Ive seen her transform ALL TYPES of hair and I have never seen anyone leave disappointed. Her passion for beautiful and healthy hair can be seen in work - from color to cuts and everything in between. She is also very timely, but the atmosphere is amazing so you wont be in a hurry to leave.

Brandis Willis I came here having not been to a salon in years! The professionalism was out of this world. Amanda took her time, treated my hair like it was family hair, and made sure I left completely happy with everything done! No scissor happy hands either! She did what was needed, left my hair healthy and soft, and was just all around one of the best beauticians I have ever had! Definitely coming back. Was recommended by a friend.

New Dayz This shop is so freaking gorgeous! Its a brand new Sola Salons so is extremely clean and in a very idea location for my business. I absolutely have enjoyed my experience and calling this place home to my new permanent makeup business.

Helen Ault Many talented personal artists are available, but be aware that parking in the area is really tight, made worse by the fact that their neighbor, B&B Butcher, makes its entire lot valet-only. Park behind the building along the street, but be prepared to have to walk as much as a block at times. Sola is on the second floor, but theres an elevator that you can get to easily from the back of the building through the courtyard.

Julie Wilkinson Love my hair dresser, Morgan, who always makes my gray hair disappear!! What is even better is their fabulous new salon! They must certainly know how to make a girl look and feel beautiful!

Sherrell Ogletree The Meme Experience is phenomenal! She is very professional and incredibly talented! My makeup is always natural looking just like I like it and she always exceeds expectations. I drive 35 minutes just to get my make up done by her and it is worth the drive. Her venue is clean and she is always on time. If you are thinking about booking the The Meme Experience....just do it! You won’t regret it!

Zaina Jabri Safa has been my hair stylist and makeup artist since I moved to Houston 6 years ago. She is the absolute best at what she does. She does an awesome job with my cuts, color, and styles and will definitely recommend her to any who is looking for a hair stylist and/or a makeup artist. This photo is one of my favorite balayage she did on my hair!

Jacque Anderson Safa is absolutely amazing! We first met when a major hair catastrophe and she spent a day and half fixing it. Since then(5 years), no one else (besides me) has touched my hair. I have moved states and now live in Dallas and still travel for her. Shes the best, besides my fiance, she is the longest relationship Ive had! Genuinely, shes a gift! Wherever she goes I will travel.

Bonnie Covey This place is absolutely amazing. My stylist Chloe King knows what to do with your hair & sells you the best products. Chloe is the best stylist I have ever had & just absolutely love the work she does with my hair. I just recently had extensions put in & it makes my hair look & feel so good about myself. Natalia Baran The best hair salon I have ever been to and visited. Emile Hermes is excellent hairdresser. When you enter the salon from the first minute you feel welcomed. While I was waiting for my haircut I could obseve how Emile is interacting with clients. From several interactions I could notice that all of his clients are 100% satisfied, smiling and always come back. Its my number 1 place to go.

Violeta Sz Emile is amazing!! I had shaved my head and when I got to the tricky pixie phase I had no real cut nor any idea of what to do with it. Then I found out about Salon Hermès. Emile knew exactly what to do and gave me an amazing and flattering look along with styling tips. I went back for a trim later and plan on going back again soon. Emile is not only professional and knowledgeable but also one of the kindest humans Ive ever met. You will not be disappointed!

Cate Glover Vanessa is amazing! She tailors every facial to exactly what your skin needs and always leaves it looking glowy and fresh. After a few treatments, my skin has gone from dry and dull to having a glow and great hydration. She uses top line products and the whole spa is relaxing and welcoming!

Janice Nguyen Wow just wow! I’ve gotten a few facials in my day, and truly Vanessa has been one of the best. She’s ask great questions about my routine, she analyzed my skin, ask questions about my comfort levels… but what really blew me away is how my skin looked even days later. Pam Williams Ms Pam provides very competent and professional hair care. She is the ultimate hair doctor. My hair is truly “her hair” in her salon. She provides comforting drinks and snacks for her clientele- and her candy bowl is never empty. She has been able to accommodate schedule changes and even managed to squeeze me in on short notice . I can honestly say that she has grown my hair. I’ve got bounce that I never had before- and the hair is healthy. I highly recommend Ms Pam . I am most happy to call her my stylist. I’m sure she’d be happy to be your stylist too.

Diana Tran I had a fantastic experience at this local Vietnamese salon near downtown Houston. Despite walking in without an appointment, Co Karina and her team were able to accommodate me right away. My haircut and wash left my hair feeling so much lighter, fuller, and healthier. The prices are also very reasonable for the area. I will definitely be coming back!

Jamie Rodas Kim did a wonderful job cutting about 6 inches off of my hair. She did exactly what I asked for. Shampoo was relaxing and staff were very friendly.

L R This salon isnt the most modern in your face salon you have ever been, but thats not what this salon is about...... The salon is in a quiet neighborhood, might have not much to look at but the magic that Rosie does for her customers will make you forget that. At first it takes a minute to trust her views but once you take her advice you will be so happy you did. She is truly the best at what she does best, shes the best colorist Ive ever been too. Her haircuts are beautifully done as well. You will not regret going to this salon. I also had a cut and blow dry to make my do complete, and I have to say, Im sacking my old hairdresser... I looked and felt a million bucks thanks to Rosie.... would highly recommend....

Brittney Nguyen I would recommend this place 11/10! Please go here if youre needing a new hair color, cut, or whatever because Rosie knows whats shes doing. She cares about your hair and makes sure she can achieve the results you want while still having healthy hair. She is so sweet and caring and is amazing at her job! Im definitely coming here again!

Nirmali Samarakoon First time cutting my hair in the US and absolutely loved the service here. Maria was great . She did exactly what I had in mind. My husband also got a haircut . We couldn’t get the name of the gentleman who did his haircut but he was great too. Very professional and we will definitely be going there again.

Karen DuRousseau I’ve been going to Eve for years and will never go to anyone else. My protective styles are done professionally, maintaining the health of my hair. Her braids are the most comfortable ones I’ve ever experienced. She did a no leave out sew in my last visit. I wanted to experiment with a new hair color and it was so natural!

Sherley After a two-month search for an affordable hairstylist specializing in sew-in extensions, I discovered Eve. I consulted with her the day before purchasing the hair, and she provided excellent advice. I was amazed by how natural and perfect my hair looked after she styled it. Despite having limited hair, using only two packs, she skillfully added matching hair to complete the look. My experience with Eve was outstanding; she is attentive, intelligent, and professional. As someone from Florida who previously had disappointing experiences in Houston, I was pleasantly surprised. She did my hair so good that my friend asked me for her number. I now trust only Eve with my hair.

S C Eve was very sweet and did a great job on my hair. I let her know that I did not like alot of tension on my hair and she was more than understanding unlike other stylist that blow you off and do your hair tight anyway. I was very pleased with my results and will certainly go back to her.

Ann No price transparency. Prices increase every appointment, but service is the same. Corey has become very arrogant, but life has a way of humbling you, so watch how you treat people.

Momma Bear I am new to Houston and found Coreys establishment with a quick Google search. This is my first frontal instillation and it is everything! Corey and his employees exude great customer service, making me feel like a regular client on my first visit. If you come here you will not be disappointed. The salon is beautifully decorated and immaculate. My foundation braids are neat and not tight at all something that I have never experienced! He educated me on frontals as well as answered post installation questions. I will definitely be a regular client.

She was straight forward with the type of care the cut and styling would need. After asking, she offered her kind opinion and I loved it! After all she has 8+yrs of experience!

April Fitzgerald I had an incredible experience at VIDA Beauty Studio with stylist Jazmin Gonzalez! I hadnt had a haircut in over 4 years because it’s nearly impossible to find a reasonably priced haircut for long hair in Houston. I scheduled a haircut with a wash for 10 am on June 22nd, and I was blown away. I left with my hair blow-dried and styled, all for just $65 (not including tip). Typically, a haircut in Houston that includes a blow-dry and style starts at $85-$100, not factoring in the additional cost for hair length. The entire experience was chill and incredibly relaxing. Jazmin was so kind, professional, inviting, and welcoming—I cant get over how great she was to me. The studio was empty when I arrived early, and I was the only one there, which made the experience even more special. Knowing my haircut was only $65, I was more than happy to leave a great tip. I paid a total of $85, which is still a fantastic deal compared to other salons where prices start at $85 without including the tip. For as long as VIDA Beauty Studio is open and Jazmin is there, I wont go to any other salon. I cant wait to return in a few months for another trim. Overall, such a great place! 10/10 experience.
