sfb. saas Worst Experience at Bombay Salon on MacArthur Blvd – Avoid This Place! Trust me,I had an awful experience at Bombay Salon on MacArthur Blvd. I went in expecting a proper haircut, but the entire service was rushed and finished in less than 2 minutes. There was no care, no professionalism, and absolutely no effort put into the haircut. Yet, they charged me the full price as if I received a premium service. What makes it worse is that my friends had similar bad experiences at the same location. It seems like this salon is more focused on rushing through customers and making money than actually providing quality service. I do not recommend this place at all. If you care about how you look and want to be treated with respect, avoid Bombay Salon on MacArthur Blvd.

Eesha Karanam Overall, the salon experience was very bad, I had a very unpleasant encounter with one of the older staff members she looks like a major role in the salon . She was extremely rude in the way she spoke to people. I had accompanied my friend for her waxing and eyebrows. One of the employees kindly allowed me to sit with her, and I understand that the seat was meant for clients receiving services. However, this older lady came and very rudely asked me to get up, without any politeness in her tone. Later, when I went with my friend for her waxing, she didn’t allow me into the room—even though there was a chair where I could’ve waited. I was okay with sitting outside, but her attitude and the way she spoke were very disrespectful.and the service they finished in two minutes and she felt very painful bcz of that she got some bubbles on her hands. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and ensures better customer service from all staff members in the future.

madhu G Worst experience, avoid lady barber( middle aged) she better suits at sheep farm. Skill is lacking rudeness is overflowing. Boys are better skilled.

Shyane Sanchez I was a few door down at another business and decided to walk in as I needed a trim. I was greeted nicely and attended quickly. Alex did my hair and gave me recommendations on hair care I was in and out within 30 minutes(I walked in with my hair washed). Definitely recommend this place even the other stylist were so kind.

Johnson Nguyen Looking for a barbershop? Did you think a beauty salon wouldnt have top tier barbers? This is definitely a salon shop with excellent barbers. Ive gone to many many barber shops and I always come back to this one. You wouldnt even bat an eye since there is no mention of "Barber" in the name right? Its not a barbershop, but the stylists here do an amazing job. Much better than any actual barbershop Ive ever been to. Theyre very precise with the blade and pay attention to detail. My friends and I come here anytime we need any kind of tapered cut or a fade. Mary Cruz, her mom, and Gustavo all do an amazing job and I highly recommend this place to any guys out there looking for a fresh cut.

Luis Quezada Great place to get your hair done price is up there but you will be amazed by the work they do specially martita and her daughters they take there skills to the next level they will help you look fresh the o ly reason why Im giving a 4 is because its always packed and need to get a reservation to see someone specifically if you do a walk in then is as who ever is free will take you they do the full work they will cut your hair then do a wash then style your hair, i am a man so may be different with women also martita can double as a barber and she is amazing she will make you look fresh love this place have not been there in a while but Everytime Im in the area if I need a haircut martitas place is the place to go

Priscilla Jaimes one of the young ladies named Jessica that works here she is really good with my 2 year old son very fast and very patient she does the absolute BEST and his hair always comes out looking so fresh and SO clean lol! so needless to say she is an angel barber when it comes to cutting inpatient, always moving, crying screaming toddlers she is the BEST!!!

alexandra hernandez HAIRSTYLIST: LUCY Im the third party, and the original client that came to this so she had told the hair dresser she only wanted blonde highlights, they ended up bleaching majority of her hair....and adding to that she also said she lost a lot of her hair--- by the hairstylist technique... (i guess how long she had the bleach in her or she used a bad strong mixture) either way she lost a lot of hair the client had to go somewhere else to re do her hair , so she had spend double to finally get what she originally wanted the client does admit the hairstylist was nice and had manners.. thats the only reason i gave that one little star Again so much damage to the clients hair when she simply asked for blonde highlights and unnecessary money spent Im writing this review because i witnessed the results when i saw the client the following day and that was unacceptable service that was given The owner of the salon needs to have this hairstylist do a practical of all the services they provide (to see what shes actually able to provide.......(whats asked for)

Monica Zuniga NEVER again will I go to this hair salon. 1st time client and I showed the lady a picture of balayage. I had healthy dark brown hair that hadnt been touched in 6mo She DAMAGED my hair drastically. I even have constant breakage a month later. Hair feels so rough. She left me under the dryer for an hour while attending to other clients. Then she was rough with my hair after getting it tangled with her approach to do balayage or ombre hair which she did NOT know how to even achieve this professional style!! She did thin streaks away from root and did the tips this came out NOTHING like I wanted. She dyed more brown than the desired blonde I wanted mid-section. She used way too much heat on my hair, even applied more bleach after 45min while under dryer to my foils when anyone KNOWS it loses potency after you mix it left out over an hour! Not much of a notice to whatever highlights she did. She tangled my hair which caused a painful tug when she combed out my hair after washing that caused more breakage. The styling also horrible! She blowed dried and curled crappy also BURNING it more with heat. Smh Came out a piss poor job for $285. Never had someone damage my hair so badly in one session, left disappointed and beyond pissed. I can have my entire hair bleached more than once in the same day (no heat dryer needed) and my hair will be somewhat healthy still and shiny looking when done properly. I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone but men for a haircut.

S C The lady name Salina did my hair cut. Her treatment was HORRIBLE. First of all, While she cut my hair, My head was facing the doorway, then I told her, can you please cut my hair with my head facing the mirror ? She said No; She kept Refusing to cut my hair with my face looking at the Mirror. I am thinking it’s because She don’t want to be corrected for her mistakes. She did my Haircut in 5 Minutes like She is in a RUSH and Hurry. She had a BAD Attitude. I did not see her name on Certification. I Would not recommend this Salon at All. Horrible place for Men’s Haircut.

Albil They were very nice I felt like they were my brothers and sister they also sell food I would recommend

David Brannon Obviously caters to only one ethnic group but I went anyway. Got a good cut. But in this age of diversity seemed racist to me.

Kim Lopez Salon was really nice, employees were friendly. Only drawbacks were I left with my whole back wet and was charged more than what I was told over the phone. Will consider returning but will probably look for another salon before making this my "go to" place.

Marta Lopez Rakel is amazing!! I am very very happy with my nails!! She takes her time to make sure they are perfect and her price is great!

guadalupe beltran I went to get a perm done. They told me no to wash my hair for three days and that it wasn’t supposed to fall of ever. Three days passed so I washed it and my hair went to its regular form I went to the salon and told them but they treated me poorly. They kicked me out and I didn’t even get my money back. Would not recommend.

But either way, I get asked a lot because my eyebrows look SO GOOD thanks to Anisha. Her attention to detail is incredible. I’ve gone the other ladies that work there too and they are all great.

Khadija Kapasi Great salon for threading. I stepped in here while waiting for my order in the restaurant next door. I am so glad I did! Sumi, is an artist with a thread! She was light handed, quick and precise. The results exceeded my expectations. I had been struggling to find a good person after my previous girl moved. Visit this little salon, the staff is polite and professional, and the results are amazing. Best $7 spent on a Saturday!

Azmath begum It was a pleasure to be there for my facial , hair colour and threading work . I was late after I finish my work . Priya (Rozy) still has accommodated me . I love the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. After the white hair coverage she has wiped all stains gently and also gave a nice head message while washing the color off . It was worth my time and money . I strongly recommend it !!

Jessica Cavazos This is the 2nd time they mess up my eyebrows. But this time she made my eyebrow short. Dont go with the girl on the 2nd chair she doesnt know what shes doing. Bad threading didnt even clean up. Never going back!!!! Now I have to let them fully grow to fix the issue. My eyebrows have never looked this bad before

Elisa Rosie is simply awesome. Threading cost 5 bucks I suggest get money out cause there is a dollar surcharge for plastic. I love the way she shapes my eyebrows and so quick too. 5 to 8 mins is the most I spend in chair.

Ivan Arechar I’ve been attending this salon 2 years in a row now, Mary is a very great Hairstylist for men and women. I’m a weekly Customer as well so this speaks out! If Mary isn’t there , i make sure i come back the next day, it is worth Waiting an extra day or two for her. I highly recommended this salon! They have great manners and always do a great job with customers. My daughter went to the salon for the first time and I love the way her hair was so I came in and Shirley. She just did her thing, good customer service down to earth lady beautiful beautiful soul.
