Daniel Almand Tin Star Salon in Kerrville was an awesome experience. Vicki knew exactly what he was doing and our haircuts came out great. She was friendly, nice and a pleasure to talk to. Will return again!

Gabriel Hernandez I was referred to this place by my boss, who obviously gets his haircut there whenever he is in town, (we arent from kerrville). I called, no answer. Left a message trying to schedule an appointment before Saturday as we get very busy. I called like 5 times over the course of about 3 hours trying to set it up for hopefully the following days lunch break. Finally, a lady picks up the phone, I ask for the person by name that I was referred to, it was her that picked up. Instead of scheduling an appointment, she immediately and rudely asks me to stop calling every ten minutes... Which, I was not timing how long it was in between calls, but thats really not the point. Lost my business. Or should I say rejected my business.

christine almaguer Sign says walk-ins welcome so when I walked into get my eyebrows waxed all the stylist were either sitting down, walking around and one was just carrying a baby, they began to explain how they had appointments to walk in at any moment and one client of theirs was about it get washed from a coloring okay literally one client in the salon and dont get me started on on how horrible it smells so yes wont be back

Randall Johnson Christi is the BEST. She has been cutting my hair for more years than either of us want to admit!

Stephan Finnicum THEE best prok rinds. World class. Emily will make custom flavors that she has. I reccomend spicy bbq. But they are fried, fresh and seasoned daily.

Kelly Munoz Wont mention names but I went there 3 times at $30 a pop and I keep telling the gal cutting my hair what wanted and she would do what she wanted. I tried sparking up conversation and she couldnt be bothered. Everyone else there was cool. I feel for $30 plus $10 tip I should get what I want and some kind of personality.

Mcpeter Skeeter “The big skeet” For months I had been trying to find an opening at any Salon or Barber shop in town that wasnt Great or Sports Clips. I had found Luckys here one Google and decided to give them a try. When I had called to schedule an appointment, I was informed that they were fully booked Saturday, but David offered to cut my hair before he closed at noon. Even though Im sure he wouldve been happy to go home at that time, he took extra time out of his schedule to give me the best haircut and experience Ive ever had while at a barber shop. Hes very proud of the work and experience he offers, and I can totally see why! If youre looking for a clean cut and classic/homely atmosphere, go to Luckys!

Chris Griffin Best place ever to get your hair cut or styled! Me and my whole family go here, and are extremely happy. David is a super nice guy, very friendly and always has great things to say. Sherri is the lady who I have been with for about 12 years now!! Once I found her and how much work she puts into my haircut to make me look my best, I would never go anywhere else. There is always an upbeat vibe here. Music in the background but not to loud...and some famous musicians stop in and pick the guitar with David. So being treated to live music is another nice thing when that happens! The other ladies there are also very kind. Luckys of Texas on Medina Hwy (Hwy16) just barely south of town is the place to get any style of family haircut, color, or anything related to your hair done. They get my highest rating! 5 Stars!! Rox JP Finally!! Finally, I found my hair stylist. We located to Kerrville several years ago, but I kept my old stylist...3 1/2 hrs away. I had mentioned Luckys to my husband when he was looking for a new barber a few years ago. So, he, in turn, mentioned Luckys and Brandy to me! I am so pleased with Brandy and my cut/style.

Hernandez Garcia-Rangel Adelita (Lita) Love the way Sandra cut my and my daughters hair. Angel always does a great job when it comes to cutting my Ex-husbands hair.

Valerie Chatham I have been a customer for over 20 years. I have never had a bad cut and have followed Angel all over town. So happy he and his wife have their own place now. When my older sister was ill, Angel worked in my younger sister who had come to help with caregiving. We are forever grateful.

Oscar Herrera Sandra and Brandi are excellent hair stylist and offer walk ins when most places in town reject you at the door, even though you tried and tried to set an appointment and no one answers the phone posted on their website. Highly recommend.

Billie Crider Kari is awesome. Showed her a photo of what i wanted and she was successful in providing that. Very excellent care in getting my hair the right color. She os able to multitask, did several men hair cuts while waiting on my color. Polite and very caring. I will miss her. Thank you Kari!!

Lili Carpenter Fantastic! I took a client from my disabled care service here to get her bangs trimmed(they keep getting in her eyes. We had Emma help us and she did amazing! Would definitely come again, they were so accommodating, they even let my client stay in her wheelchair.

espurcell59 Great experience. Emma was so friendly and gave great advice on my very thin (straggly) hair. Very pleasant service. My hair is now shorter with more volume and it will be easy to replicate how she dried and styled it. Very clean salon and the prices were impressive.

Nadine Wiley De Moura One of the best cut and color I’ve ever had. Laurie was Quick efficient and affordable and she honored a military discount. I have 3b/c curly hair and wanted color not long before closing she took me as a walk in and was very professional. I will definitely go back my cut looks so nice and my hair feels so soft and healthy and is super shiny. She didn’t charge me crazy pricing because I had curly hair and that has happened before at other places which deters me from getting it cut or done at all :/ She clearly knows her stuff and is not afraid to get creative and dive in.

Roberta Campbell I moved to Kerrville recently and found Talk of the Town online. I saw the reviews were great so I called Laurie for an appointment. Cute, cozy shop and Laurie was very sweet. I showed her a picture of what I was hoping to get and she went to work. The end result was great! Definitely will be back again.

Randy Wood I have had my grandsons hair cut there before and always happy. Today a very young barber cut his hair. It is a mess ! When I asked that he clean it up a little he just just brought clippers while he was standing cut one long tag and stood there. There was a older barber there who just looked and never offered help. I paid and left because I didn’t want to upset my grandson . I understand young barbers have to learn. At least have a experienced barber watching over. I was charged and paid full price for a kid to mess up my grandsons hair . Yes it will grow back. But that’s not the point.

Hunter Bradford This place does the best fades in town. The barbers cut women’s hair too, but they seem to specialize in short men’s haircuts. If that’s you, consider allowing Restoring Images to cut your hair.

Kevin Scoggins Man, these guys ROCK. I love this place and so did all our students. Josh runs an awesome shop and was a fantastic host for our fieldtrip. He had some really good advice and tips for the students, future Cosmetologists, and took time to answer a lot of questions. Thank you, sir! And thank you to all the other barbers there for demoing some awesome cuts and fades! Go see these guys!!

Sarah Hanna I went to get my hair fixed after a few bad experiences. I have wavy hair and people always mess my hair up. I also dyed it a really weird shade of red. Cheryl did an amazing job!!! Lanza Teague If youre looking for someone to tame your curls, look no further than Elliott at Hair Productions. The guy is a wizard who took the shapeless mass on my head and gave it a perky new style. Elliott is also very personable and easy to talk to.

Melissa Rowe Cheryl has done my hair many times. She is inconsistent in her work. When I was living in Austin and came to Kerrville, it took her 7 hours to do my hair because she messed it up so badly.

How I found Cheryl, I met someone @ HEB who had a beautiful Color/Style that I adored. She highly recommended Cheryl, Owner of Hair Productions.. I had no style w: limp flat fiine hair.. She suggested what i needed to get Volume in my fine hair. This was almost 2 years ago.. My hair has literally NEVER looked this good ever.. Come to find out she use to do my husband s hair in Houston 30 yrs ago.. Small world ! Both of us said she’s by far the Best Hair Stylist in Texas/US .. Highly Highly recommend her..

Carry Knox i was a first time customer and was referred by a friend. Cheryl was HIGHLY recommended to me. i didnt have any issues with her not being able to do what i wanted and i was looking forward to the appt. i made the appt almost a month in advance and on the day i went and no one was there. after almost an hour of trying to contact her i went home and heard from her later that night via text. she rescheduled me for the next day same time, 30 min before my appt she canceled and tried to reschedule again. i understand things happen like the first time but given the first time i didnt even get a text saying anything until almost 2 hours after my appt time after i had contacted her, it just put a bad taste in my mouth. im sure she does amazing work as a stylist but unfortunately i wont be trying to make a appt again.

Elaine Lane At 69 years old this is the absolute worst haircut I have ever had. Nell literally chopped my hair in distinct ridges. I had to have the back blended by someone with more talent. The front I was able to layer enough to look decent. I have no choice but to wear hats as much as possible while it grows. Please, if you cannot handle a short style, speak up!

Im pretty low maintenance hair-wise, but I am super particular about my cut. Heather was a Godsend. I had a consult and we discussed color, what I wanted, and what would and wouldnt look good on me. She took the time to listen and make sure my hair (and color) was exactly what I wanted before I left. Heather is super-friendly, and def one of the best in town! alesa simon Kristen is an absolute magical Stylist! My hair always looks fabulous after a visit and she is very flexible with her schedule! I can always get in within a week of calling for an appointment, something I absolutely need with my busy work, Mom, Wife schedule. She also has a great personality and its always great visiting with her! Oh, AND she does great eyebrow waxes/trims!

M B Gonzalez I had been curious about the Ritz Salon for a while so decided to give it a try. I went in and told Heather what I wanted really explained what I wanted and was specific about leaving the back as close to how it was and definitely not to taper it and even showed her pictures. When she was done, I thought it was shorter than I wanted but it was probably okay, but she didn’t show me the back. When I got home I looked at it and the back was tapered and short, the sides were uneven in length and shape and my bangs were awful. Honestly, I think she just decided to do what she wanted. I texted Heather and let her know that she did a terrible job and that she didn’t listen to what I had wanted. Her response was, “Ouch, I guess we aren’t a good fit”. No apology or offer to fix it (not that I would have wanted her to). I had to pay someone to fix it and I am starting all over on growing it. Very disappointed.

Joseph Jeremy is my go to barber but any of the other guys do amazing work. The atmosphere and service are second to none. Stop in for a one-time cut, and youll be a regular without a doubt!

Bryant Parson Great vibe and this fade is just fire. Forgot my grooming kit coming in for the eclipse and these guys hooked up the full trim and beard. And across the street from a brewery, next door to a tea shop? Amazing.

Kevin Scoggins 1962 Barber Company has a Really Cool place! I love the atmosphere and the setup! We brought a group of Cosmetology students in and Anabel gave us the red carpet treatment. Thank you!

Marla Niebling Tia is an AMAZING stylist. She has outstanding color knowledge, gets to know her clients needs and takes excellent care of us. She does amazing hi and low lites as well as great cuts and brows. She offers eyelash services as well but Ive never tried that. If you are looking for an outstanding beautician who is so fun too, Tia is your girl!

Gina Ruiz My favorite place in Kerrville to get my hair "did". Each one of the stylist here are really good. Its a fun enviroment with lots of girl talk and beauty supplies. They have a separate area for a boutique. So cute!!

Liliana Black We really loved this studio. Wish I can add more photos; but since it has been few days ago it really didnt let me add the other ones. I strongly recommend going here for your hair needs. Whether you need a perm, which not many people do anymore, color treatment, a haircut or a hairstyle you should call and make an appointment to see Tammy Samford Smith she is the best. My daughter loves her new look and the way Tammy styled her hair. Also, Mimi cant stop talking about how good she feels with her perm and the way her hair look. Tammy did a magnificent job. We will come to see you in 4 to 6 weeks. The studios environment is cozy and clean. The products that they use are top of the line.

Heather McCain Lori has been my go to for a couple of years. Shes cut my shorter hair and my daughters long hair and does a great job. She works around our schedules and scheduling is easy via text.

Kandra Long The first time Ive ever been there. Candi was amazing!!! Had highlights put in then I had a pic of very short cut and she gave me the courage to do it. I LOVE IT!!!

Meghan Brown Great place to get your hair done. They all know what they are doing for sure, and are very good with color. Its not the cheapest, nor the most expensive salon in town. The good thing about here is you know your money is well spent because you wont walk out with bad hair. I would rather spend mid to high prices to have it done right.

Rox JP Betty is my new go-to stylist and she gives a great cut and service. She was working at a different salon, but thankfully, I was able to locate Betty at her new location at Tuxedo Hair Salon. Very nice shop, great location and good parking. If you are looking for a stylist, Id recommend Betty...however, Ive no doubt that all the stylists at this shop are just as good. Itll be worth your time to visit Tuxedo Hair Salon.

Theresa Buckley My mom and Aunt had their hair cut and they were very pleased. I had my nails don’t and I am not pleased. I paid extra for the gel polish because it was supposed to last longer. Within a few hrs one nail peeled off while I was packing. Two days after having it done a thumbnail peeled off. I have never had nail polish just peel off whole like that before.

Sammi Spikes I can honestly say I have never had my hair cut here. However, when calling around to find if someone could do a color lift and dye, (basically where you bleach a color out of the hair, and dye it with a new color), whomever answered the phone was rude and acted as if what I was saying was ridiculous. I was cut off with a very snotty and short, "We dont do that here!", and was promptly hung up on. Mean while I call a competing salon in town. A) They know exactly what I mean when I say color lift. B) They are more then friendly, and allow me to explain my hair situation C) They give me a price point to start the process. I am not sure how well off the owner of Mane Attraction is, but coming back to Kerrville, and being treated in such a way by someone running a business is a bit shocking. In running a business it is hard to attract new customer in this economy, and this doesnt go very far in making me want to spend money in your establishment. So hopefully, other peoples experiences are better, but I will be taking my hard earned dollar some place it is appreciated

Rick Smith I took my elderly parents for haircuts. Even with online check-in, the wait was longer than expected but not unreasonable. Both of them were pleased with their stylists and the senior discount on their cuts. Its a good place for a basic, no-frills haircut at a reasonable price.

Chelsey Castanon I showed them a basic picture of what I wanted for my hair and they cut it way too short on top when I just wanted the sides shaved. She just kept cutting and cutting the top when I had already stated I just wanted the sides done. The stylist made my hair look horrible. They messed up the last cut too and I dont even know why I went back. I told her whatever that it will grow back because I literally didnt want her to touch and screw my hair up any further. I swear these people mess up hair on purpose. What I asked for and what I received are NOTHING alike. Not to mention they missed an entire patch when shaving it.

Misty Gordon Maybe I came on an off day but the salon was not clean. Hair was all over customer counter side where you check in, all over keyboard and desk where they check you in, and all over the carpeted area where you wait. If it was a busy day and I came in late maybe, but I came in at 8am. Lady who cut my sons hair was rude but gave him a decent cut so I tipped her well thinking it was just early. She nicked his ear and didnt say a word. I noticed the blood coming from it in parking lot but was just glad to get out of there due to how filthy it was. Not ever going back.

Beth Baskett $12 shampoo lasted barely 30 seconds, no conditioner used at all. Haircut was decent.
