Ashley Went because i wanted to try a new salon. They didn’t have a number outside of their building. I went in and the hairdressers were busy but not even a hello.. Stood there for a good two minutes and no one said anything, so i left. I guess i just prefer more welcoming places.

Ls Ruddick After moving to Baytown, i was talking to a coworker & told her that her hair always looks great & asked where she goes. Thats when she put me in touch with Cesy. Absolutely awesome! Never disappointed! Now my husband goes there too! Cant say enough good things about her!

breana Tower If there were an option for zero stars Id put that . I showed the lady what I wanted was a shoulder length hair cut I ended up leaving with a horrible butch bob cut . The ladys that were in the salon were both rude and unprofessional. The lady who cut my hair done what she wanted and never took what I wanted into consideration!! Will NEVER go there AGAIN

Emeline Bonner After searching for a long time, I finally found a salon I love! Im not sure of the stylists name, but I think her name was Lupita? She accommodated an appointment the same day (today) at 1pm and did an excellent job with my hair after viewing a pic of a hairstyle I previously had a few years back. Thank you! You are awesome ❤

White AnnieNichelle “AnnieNichelle” I’ve been here for my son several times. He hates getting his hair braided, but Felecia is great. He doesn’t cry or act up, and that’s a first for him. Very clean and friendly environment. I would definitely recommend.

Gracious Goddess Nicci is hands down the absolute best!! Ive been natural for 6 and a half years. Ive been wanting to go back to the creamy crack ((relaxer)) for a long time now. Im so so happy with the results. The atmosphere was great. The vibes were on point. The space was just down right comfortable. I feel like a superstar. I couldnt stop smiling. Im still smiling. I showed my fiance and he said its absolutely amazing. Thank you so much Nicci I wish I wouldve went on and made this decision years ago. Back to my healthy hair lifestyle

Alma Delia Nicki and her girls are super good and do it pretty fast, whether it be braids or twists, but dang I was IMPRESSED BY THEIR WRK, on my 2 boys hair....And Nicci is So Kool, and Makes you feel comfortable and welcomed....Wish theyd hurry up and reopen;)!

Jincy Joseph Went there for hair coloring because of the good reviews seen here. Id called twice to get an appointment. No one picked up. Left a voice mail the first time, didnt get a call back. Didnt get an option to leave voice mail the second time for whatever reason. So decided to walk in and see if I can get the hair colored. When I stepped in, I was asked if I have an appointment and the stylist mentioned that she works only with appointments. I mentioned that I called to get an appointment but didnt get one. She asked if I called the right number and I said I called the number I saw in Google. All good so far, then she asks me while taking a sip from her drink, "Do you just like to walk in and not take an appointment?" Why should that question be asked to someone who already said they tried to take an appointment? It completely threw me off. She gave me her business card later. I just stood there with my phone, looking at her website. I was very uncomfortable already due to how rude she was. Some of her clients were nice and told me about her booking app. Ive never been to this salon before and I totally understand why she is not able to accommodate me today ( She mentioned that she is the only hair dresser). I can tell that she is good at her job looking at the client she was working on but she needs to learn how to respect people, especially her first time customers. I didnt book an appointment, just walked out.

R. R. Cayse has done my hilites/color several times and each time, she is on point for what Im wanting! Today was no different! She always takes her time and does things the way I request.

Julie Jones I was referred by a friend to Cayse. I had not had my hair done in a year and was in desperate need of a cut and color. After consulting with Cayse and showing her inspiration pictures, she brought to life what I had pictured. Definitely will return. Highly recommend!

Megan Espinoza Gina and Kim were so so sweet. Gina cut my hair, talked through what she was doing and why throughout the appointment, and sent me out with the most flattering cut. I completely trusted her. I never really write reviews, but you can just tell these two give off a light. I will definitely be going back! I’m sure everyone is nice.

Ck Av Ive heard so many good things about this salon and I can back them up. I came here for an up-do with Sulema, she did great. I also came for color treatment after a not-so-good hair experience with different stylist earlier in the month, I went to get my hair fixed with Leslie and I loved it. The experience was great from beginning to end, the salon was comfortable and welcoming. Booking the appointments was easy, i asked several questions and the caller on other end answered all of them and was polite. For my up do Sulema was extremely accomodating and very friendly, did a great job on my hair. For my hair processing Leslie kept checking on my hair color and comfort, offered some water [ yes, amazing hairstylist, bonus points]. After Leslie was done with my hair I was completely happy with my results, they were what I initially wanted and looked beautiful. Another big plus is they are affordable. Seriously check these ladies out, they are amazing.

Josalyne Wyatt Overall the place was nice, clean and the hairstylist was very professional. My first time ever going to this salon, the owner was asking me questions about my hair type and the certain hair goals I wanted to reach. But I felt like we wasn’t getting anywhere and she would tell me you shouldn’t put product in your hair, and she wasn’t really educating me on what to put in my hair or anything. I went to her like three or four times and every time I would show up, she would act like she didn’t won’t to do my hair. I had got two french braids before and she act like it was too much to do, when it was a simple hairstyle. Then she charge too much for a simple hairstyle and I just quit going to this place. I didn’t really feel welcome at all and she would tell you what not to put in your hair, but she couldn’t tell you what to put in your hair. I was confused smh. I been to better hair salons than this one and this one was just not for me. Like if you don’t won’t to do certain people’s hair, then what are you a hairstylist or just be honest with them. She just didn’t educate me on hair type at all. I wish this salon the best though!

Alonzo Williams I just got some starter locs done yesterday. Best place in Baytown. Shamila is very educated on hair types and will help you understand your hair and what’s best for it. I HIGHLY recommend.

Warren Gretta (Keeping It Real) I have been using this stylist for over 19 years and she always does a wonderful job on my hair, my daughters hair and grand-daughters hair. She can style all ages and she keeps up with the new styles as well. Her hands are a gift from God and he has blessed her to do miracles with your natural hair..she is an excellent stylist. You would be very please with her work. FYI she will always be honest with you concerning your hair!

James Williams Great shop great service!! Took my daughter there a few days ago before school started and Ms Arline did a great job on her hair and recommending styles and products to use as my daughter transitions into a more natural style. Just an amazing experience!! Definitely will be bring my daughters back in the future.

Nicole Mosley She was super nice and sweet. Really helpful for an upcoming wedding. Being new to Baytown it was very hard finding a salon that caters to black women hair and doesn’t cost an arm and leg. Highly recommend shamilla ❤️

Marisa Aguilar This place was awful. I asked for them to dye my hair, and they dyed it the wrong color. They said they’d fix it, but they were going to charge me the FULL amount again. Poor work, and poor customer service. It should’ve been done correctly the first time.

Blanchard Benjamin (benthebearslayer) This was an amazing experience, Im a guy so I dont always know how-to salon. I was a walk in on a Tuesday and I needed a styled haircut - plus I have long hair. I maybe waited 20 minutes but the service was outstanding. Haha also, my fiance wont stop telling me how cute she thinks I look with my new style. Go here, you wont be disappointed!

maebeacook Horrible experience. Was approached by the Hispanic woman in the store after I greeted her to be told the products are to be purchased by licensed professionals which I knew already. I was then asked for my professional license and drivers license after informing her I was looking. I was called multiple mes which are not my name and then told she could speak to me any way she wanted and further told I could leave If I didnt like her demeaning behavior and words. I departed the store. That condescending bedwench of a woman doesnt need to work for this store at all nor any retail facility which caters to the public. She is an utter embarrassment to the store owners and to the community she represents. Encountering her was sickening to say the least.

Liliana Leyva I came to buy some items at that very moment when the cashier gave me the receipt I decided to return an item and the cashier told me that she couldnt give me the money back she can just give me a card to buy something else, I just paid you and I want to return an item and you come out with that definitely not coming back!

Had to get out and proceed inside and all was said is this is a professional beauty supply. Never mind the fact that I have 3 license in the beauty field. And was a returning customer. But never again.

Mary DuPont This is my favorite spot for beauty supplies! Both Linda and Diana are so helpful and has ordered me tools when needed. They are usually stocked with my favorites from Shades EQ & has Pulp Riot products that other locations don’t. I wish they did carry more of the IGK line.

Vannessa Rocha I am a cosmetologist and this store here is the best beauty supply store to go to because it has the top brands that the other beauty stores do not carry plus great prices. I’m in love with the shampoo and conditioner by Joico defy and damage and I recommend this to anybody that wants their hair looking flawless, it protects your Hair all day long every day from chemicals that were used prior to your hair and protects it from heat. My hair looks so healthy and shiny and RDA Pro Mart beauty supply is the only one who carries it in Baytown. I even got a lot of friends on this, they love the smell, it smells like perfume!

Myrna Aguilar Pretty disappointed I have to say, I had high expectations for this business only to find out she doesnt do dreadlocks! unfortunately for me I sent Maruja $20 for deposit before knowing this! Not only did I lose $20 but I wish she was more informative and honest. CLEARLY SAYS DREADLOCKS UNDER SERVICES*

Nia Brantley I absolutely love my daughters braids. Her braids are neat with clean parts (that are all exactly the same size and 100% age appropriate). This was my daughters first time to get her braided, and she enjoyed it the experience (meaning the braids are not too tight) . I also truly appreciate the fixable times available for scheduling appointments. I highly recommend going to Maruja Hair Braiding. You will not be disappointed.

Chris Giron Beautifully done box braids; I have a ton of thick hair so I know it wasn’t easy, but she was amazing. The style is so comfortable and I can’t wait to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my hair. So lucky to have found her close by, absolutely coming back again.

Velma Bernard I visited the salon for the first time today. I was able to make my appointment the day before she was very courteous and answered all of my questions. The day of my appointment she was very professional very neat and I loved the way my braids came out. She really knows what she’s doing when it comes to Braden and I love the way my style came out. It was very clean and organized and she was so professional. If I didn’t say before, I will say it again I love my new braids they are absolutely beautiful and they are very neat , and they aren’t tight at all. I wasn’t sure what I wanted going in but she asked a bunch of questions and helped me figure it out and I left with my hair feeling and looking SO much better. ActualAngelIRL Went here looking to find a new salon as most in the area tend to do poor services on curly or textured hair, and came out looking like a new woman! Absolutely recommend Excellence Salon as it has amazing stylists and workers there, along with wonderful and comfortable energy. This place is probably one of the best salons in the Baytown area with it being a hidden gem where its located on Rollingbrook Dr. Amazing cutting, color, service, and treatments here. The two stylists that were booked for me and my sisters services same day was such a wonderful experience and I recommend anyone to please try this place out and see how you feel! Make sure to book early in the day or contact on their site so you can get what you need when possible! Overall an amazing salon experience, and I will definitely be going here in the future. All the workers there are very kind and attentive and make you feel good being there! I would, if I could, give more than 5 stars for this place.

Arely Hernandez First time there, had a haircut and it was uneven, but I went back and they fixed it, good no problem. Gave it a second chance, went and got my hair done, bleached for the first time and its not good at all. Half way throught I knew it wasnt going to be what I wanted but I was hoping it would look good at least but Its not the case, and now Im the one that its to embarrased to go back again and ask them to fix it. Im aware I have a small amount of hair and maybe that technique works better on a fuller head, but thats why I went for a consultation and the I explained everything again the date of the appointment. Totally regret it. There are different stylists there, so maybe you have better luck than me.

Angelica Garcia Okay so price wise this places is excellent! But the staff really doesnt care to make you wait just because. I went this morning to get a refill and I Got longh (not sure how to write her name) she seemed unwilling to help and left my nails very very thick and I asked for snowflakes they are not pretty! If you want pretty nails you have to get sung. She does excellent job and takes her time. Also be willing to wait over 3 hrs at times. They do get busy. While I was there a couple walked in for pedicures. They told them ok but to wait… mind you they werent doing anything so they just waited while one lady painted numbers on nail polish boxes. It’s just percepción. They do not care, and start speaking in their language. The owner also does nothing about it. Speaks alot on the place but people wait for the price. I added a picture of what. I asked for and what I got. You can clearly see. They were thick and design is not anything what I wanted.

Kathery Selena Love this place! No complaints. They take their time on your nails to make sure everything is done right, but if you’re in a hurry they make sure to get them done quick and are just as good. Today I had 30 min before work to get a broken nail fixed and a shellac refill and with a little team work they got it done! Prices are reasonable and affordable on both nails and pedicures. The staff is friendly, the girls are always nice to me. Thank you ☺️

Vu hai Was in store for a hair cut and eyebrow wax which was done by Miss. Kim. She did a very good job , and she was so friendly in communication during her performance. 100% I will be back for more service in needs. Service prices are not to much to pay but I like all people who is working there because of theirs smiles and make me felt so confident at the very first time welcome. What I wanted Miss. Kim took care of nice and neat. Thank you Kim.
