Vanessa Moreno I had high hopes for this salon because of the reviews. I traveled 4 hours to San Antonio for a birthday trip and wanted to get a nice set for my event. Everyone was extremely nice, so to have to complain about the quality of my refill is not something I wanted to do, but considering the cost of both of my services and for my nails to look like they’re already peeling off. All together for a refill and a basic pedicure with shellac was $147. Pedicure was fine. No complaints there. While at the salon, in the light the nails looked fine, but once outside and further inspection of the work, I found myself completely dissatisfied. The tech Annie was wonderful. I completely understand they run a fast paced service because it’s a busy day, but I really expected more. Not only does it seem like a refill was rather pricey, they use less materials to complete the work. As long as I’ve been getting my nails done, I found it odd that the refill process fell short. Again, excellent customer service. I am just very disappointed in the quality of my nails.

Lorri Farley Daisy did a phenomenal job on my toes and if I lived here, she’d be my person. I’ve lived all around the world, this is by far the best place I’ve ever been. The leg massage is amazing, they take their time and you don’t feel rushed like most places.

Christine Kazmierski We moved to the area not long ago and I’ve been looking for a great nail salon. Texas Nail House came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint! Got in right at my appointment time and Henry got right to work on my neglected toes. He did a fantastic job! Very friendly and professional. The free drinks are definitely a bonus when you need some relaxing momma time :)

Mercedes Starnes Update: I ended up going back to the salon to get my nails fixed by a different nail tech, and they came out so much better! I appreciate the nail salon reaching out to me to fix my issues at no extra charge! I really enjoyed my second go around and Hailey did an amazing job! Initial Review: This was my first time here and I have pros and cons. The pro is that nail salon was set up very well and everyone was super friendly. I also love the almond shape of my nails and the cat eye design. Exactly what I wanted. HOWEVER, I JUST got these nails done yesterday and they look already one to two weeks grown out… the underlay powder was not blended down into the bed of my nail and even after filing, it was left super thick. For paying $110 I would except better. It sucks cause I really love the nails themselves. I havent decided if I’ll come back but if I did I would want a different nail tech.

There was cans and bottles empty just sitting around rags all on the floor they even had their dog there it pooped on the floor and they just kicked it to hide it instead of picking it up and to top it off I got a very poor pedicure. This location just gets worse I was hoping it would be better since the name changed but I was wrong.

Caroline Sewell I was honestly shocked at the lack of communication I received today. I stopped by the shop to hopefully set up an appointment to get my nails done. The nice lady that was there gave me Deena’s number. I called her & left a message. I followed that with a text. She messaged me that she was grabbing her book. I waited over an hour & asked what time she had available. She again responded with she needed to grab her book. 4 hours later I get a text asking if 1:30 tomorrow was ok. The lack of reasonable response had me go somewhere else.

Maria Barboza Very disappointing went there the first time and it will be the last I felt like my money was not worthy I took my daughter to get her nails done and she wanted them coffin shaped and got them squared one hand longer then the other, the sides of the nail where super pointy and a little sharp my daughter was to embarrassed to say anything and took the young lady 2 hours to do such a bad job and still charged me $65.. If the owner sees this I hope she can get us back in so she can personally get them fixed.. I would appreciate it sense she has such good ratings..

I am giving this place 3 stars because the employee, a man, who tended to my pedicure used the pumice stone where not needed and resulted to scraping my skin. He had scraped to where I felt discomfort. Just ensure that they use the pumice stone where necessary at the bottom part of feet.

Becky Mueller Very rushed and rough pedicure by an older gentlemen. Also service descriptions deceptive. Wanted a 70.00 service and had all these bells and whistles listed. I did not get them all. When I inquired, was told oh that applies to manicures, was mixed in with pedicures. 70.00 for 45 minute pedicure, not worth it. Have had much much better elsewhere. Will not return.

Holly Piedra I went for a fill and color and had Lynn as my technician. She was awesome! Chatted with me and so pleasant. Very pretty shop and clean. Lynn has a customer for life!

Marisol Aguilera Correa Natalie was the lady who attended me and the service was very poor she was with little knowledge it seemed as if she had no experience. I came in with a full set looking for a fill and she couldn’t do that wanted to change the color as if their nails were hers. She wouldn’t use enough powder as if she didn’t want to use it. And I got there with 10 nails and she broke my nail. And she is a liar Poor customer service no water was offered.

Emily Sauceda I went in on Nov 24th I did set an appointment prior to going to there was no wait time. The customer service was great and the tech doing my nails was friendly. The services I received was a nail fill with gel polish, toe nail gel polish change and trim. However the next day my thumb nail was already chipped. Then three days later two more nails chipped. Now it’s only 12 days later and it looks as if I new a whole new gel polish and fill. Also one of toe nails is chipped. Prior to arrival I was quoted $30 fill with gel polish, but I was charged an extra $10 gradient color understandable. But when it came to my toes I was charged $25 for gel color change only and then and extra $10 for a trim which honestly wasn’t much trimming. But my tech didn’t express any of these extra charges prior to doing what I was asking. So to my surprise I was charge more at the end when paying. I did also receive an eye brow wax which I was completely satisfied with. Ive been to several salons and I’ve never had my gel polish chip. Or ever been charged to trim my nails slightly. But overall it’s a nice salon and great atmosphere.

Andy M This is a small business that my grandparents and aunt have gone to for well over 20 years. They might not do all the most modern fancy stuff that some look for as far as pedicures or extra stuff but they give good haircuts, they do basic pedicures, theyre friendly and they have a very down home feel. Not some young, swanky, ultra expensive salon, more of a neighborly, down home, good quality place.

Ana I usually go to TipTop but decided to give this salon a try based in a recommendation from a friend . I was greeted right away in a friendly manner but I left disappointed. I had my acrylic nails removed, a pedicure with shellac polish for my finger nails and toenails. The pedicure was good but the technician wasn’t super friendly and at one point cussed because my acrylic nails weren’t coming off fast enough. The polish on my toenails was fine but the shellac on my fingernails ended up a little messy on the sides. My tech didn’t even respond when I said bye and thank you. It was experience but I think I am going to stick with TipTop next time.

Kathy Morris The best place in town for pedicure. I have in grown toenails, arthritis in my legs and feet also a large bunion on right foot. I do not allow anyone, anywhere to do my pedicure but Tina! She is gentle and does a great pedicure. Im 74 and use a walker. The whole staff is friendly and offer to accommodate my needs anyway they can. I also like that the place is always clean. They require each person to wash their hands before any procedure is done. Im convinced its the best place in town!!!

Allyson Willis I usually love this place but the last few times I’ve gone I’ve been disappointed. Let me start by saying everyone is SUPER nice and they make you feel loved, however today my nails just weren’t it. I showed the picture I wanted and it just didn’t turn out like it. The lines were off, my skin was left messy because she was filing my skin, the chrome isn’t even fully done, I was just left not loving them. I added a picture of what I wanted vs what I got.

Queen Libra Went to get a french tip pedicure with the line being a rainbow color style, was told it WAS possible to get done. Waited over an hour to get my toes painted while 2 other clients came in after me & left before me. Then told they could NOT do the style. Ended up getting a basic pedicure. My left big toe you can see through it it looks SO ugly. I don’t understand why the nail tech would not mention that it would be noticeable?. Walked out very unhappy. Smh. Like who would want this??!!

Kim Dent Don’t recommend coming, I rarely get my nails done so as a birthday treat for myself and went to get them done, full set of acrylics simple design. The guy that did them kept filing down on my thumb nail cuticle for some reason, ended up making it extremely painful/swollen. Almost a week later and it’s still swollen. I sent a message saying this and they kept saying about a discount on my next set, I told them I rarely get them done so that’s useless, but some sort of compensation, I wasn’t even asking for a full refund because the rest were fine. However, this one should have at least been $20 refund. They argued with my husband and kept saying discount on next set even after I already told them. I messaged them again on Facebook and they have just ignored me. Never going there again. Terrible customer service. And don’t care at all after you’ve paid.

Alejandra Flores Employees were nice, but i got a set of nails and got charged $70. 3 of my cuticles were cut and were bleeding, they just put some sanitizer and said it was ok. When I payed I was expecting a discount but I didnt get one. That happened yesterday and today it is swollen around my nail and hurts so bad. The nails came out pretty and I recommend to be more gentle.

jazz the amazing (fan life) I’ve been to a good amount of nail salons. So I know they will not all be the same. I have never been to this place in particular till today. I wasn’t sure if I need to make an appointment or they allow walk ins. I called and they scheduled me. I was 8 mins late so I understood if they were going to be a lil upset. I didn’t feel welcomed and they didn’t really talk or have conversation with me. But they did talk amongst themselves like most salons do just in their own language. I understood why they do it but I feel as if it’s a little rude. I gave them my idea of my nails and they listened to how I wanted it black and a gold snake. The coffin shape isn’t to great and they didn’t take off the excess Nail pieces. Also I wear my ring every time I go anywhere or do mostly anything but when they were filing my nails they got my ring. I took it off because just cuz it’s real doesn’t mean I don’t want any scratches or anything on it. When she was doing the snake I asked if she can put the snakes head at the bottom instead of the top she said ok. I see now I was ignored and more in likely just rushed. For the price was 55. I can’t say much about the price because I never know how they price it. I’m not one to tell them how I really feel about it and it might be on me but here is my input on my nails. Update: I got my nails done Friday it’s now Sunday and they feel as if I had them a week or two when nails start being fragile and it’s time to take them off. How does that make sense. I make sure I’m not rough with my nails but these damn things hurt. I’m not happy.

Now having watched Tina do our pedicures, she was meticulous in the pedicure, the instruments she used & the location of where she returned them. I feel confident in returning to her for a pedicure.

The salon was very busy but they attended me very fast and they took time to do my manicure and pedicure even though they were busy. The staff is very friendly. Offering drinks to guest. They have a great selection of colors and several pedicure options to choose from. I have gone back at least 3 more times and I have always recieved great service here. I plan to make this my go to nail salon from now on.

Adelita Madrigal Finally stopped by and glad I did! Went as a walk-in and everyone was taken. The host at the register let me wait in a pedicure chair and get a massage. Offered refreshment and worked on my nails until a nail tech was free. The nail tech was very efficient, worked fast and did a wonderful job with cuticle aftercare and getting all the excess powder that hardens and gets stuck underneath the nail, leaving them with a clean finish.

Carolyn Medina Had two nail techs, the male that did my pedicure did great and listened to what I said the basic only $30 and normal nail polish. We had a lady do the other two and they also picked normal polish and basic $30 pedicure. They charged me for right on mine but $100 worth on the other two and the older man was rude when I asked about the over charging. Basically what should have been $90 turned into $140.

Jose Delgado My sister and I went last Saturday, the man was rushing, started doing my nails not even half way done he jumps over and starts working on my sisters nails,he did an awful job on her French tip,they looked all puffy,horrible work!! All my nails are different lengths, my nails look alittle bulky in certain areas. The only good thing about that place was the older lady that worked there, she was very nice. But we will never ever go back and I dont recommend this place to anyone.

Illuminating Sunshine Over priced. I was charged $40 for a fill; I should’ve asked before she started, just regular acrylic. I don’t recall her name, but she forgot to paint one of my finger nails a different color that I requested and then she gets upset because I told her and she rushed it when I got home the polish peeled off and was gooey not happy. I went back for the nail tech to redo it and she gave me attitude… Well, she did a horrible job; the polish was clumpy; again and again. They lost my business and they are not local…

Allyson Willis I got my acrylics taken off and asked for a manicure with clear polish because my nails needed a break. I was helped by the owner. My nails are HORRIBLE. They are not smooth, he didn’t file them, the clippers and stuff they had looked rusted, I still have acrylic residue on my nails, and he didn’t even cut my nails that are cracked. I am HIGHLY disappointed. I then sat there for 15 minutes thinking he was gonna come back to finish my nails, but he took another client and finally told me I was done…never going to come back here.

Ashley Griffith I went here for a pedicure and manicure, not a wise decision. When I walked in the man was already giving me attitude about wanting shellac and not polish. The chair they sat me in had rips and they didn’t even use a plastic bag in the tub they just filled it up. They also didn’t tell me how much they charged for shellac on your toes ( it’s $20 ). The lady that was working on me did a great job. I personally just did not like the attitude, uncleanliness, the variety of polish and how the ac felt non existent. It took them 2 hours to do my manicure and pedicure!!! Not worth the $90 charge.

This place butchered her nails, they trimmed 2 of them to short and she kept telling me they hurt. Never again!!!!

Angelica Martinez DON’T COME HERE! If I could rate it a zero I would. This was my first and LAST time I will come here. First…the price advertised is NOT the price they charge. The window clearly states $22 for a full set but I was charged $33. I didn’t even get any special design or any nail polish. She charged me for almond shape. She rushed thru the process and didn’t do a good job. My nails have cracks on the tips and she says they are not cracks. I just moved to this town and decided to give them a try. But believe me when I say…NEVER AGAIN!
