Chris Blake Pictures Mr. Harriss was extremely unhelpful and rude on the phone. I needed help sorting out insurance after my father passed away and it was all just a nuisance to him. Definitely happy to be going to another agency! Sharpe and Smith are very helpful and, more importantly, kind!

Amy Hewitt You get what you pay for. I had heard so many times that farmers insurance was good insurance and I had been with Geico for many years and they kept going up up up up until finally I was paying $250-$260 a month for full coverage insurance on a 14-year-old car with high miles and so I took the chance to switch over to farmers and I was so excited when I ended up getting it for less than half of what I was paying at Geico like maybe 60 or 70% less. But then the real test came when I had a breakdown and I tried to use my roadside assistance and needless to say they never sent anyone and I had to call a tow truck myself and pay out-of-pocket and they were still calling me 12 to 15 hours later apologizing for the inconvenience and said they’re still working on getting me someone’s and I cut the lady off and said do you really think I would be that stupid to wait 12 to 15 hours plus for y’all to send someone? no ma’am. I took it upon myself and called the tow truck and paid out of pocket. The lady told me how I could get reimbursed for it and then I called the agent that signed me up to assist me and he was telling me to call the people who called me and told me what to do and every time I called the claims people I was told that they were having technical difficulties and high call volumes and then the calls would disconnected so you truly do get what you pay for so I guess I’m gonna have to start looking around for some decent insurance and hope that I can find some that’s not as expensive as Geico, but at least more reliable than this farmers insurance which is a damn joke. The claims people was telling me to go on some website to claim it and when I would try to make a claim, they’d say I didn’t have a policy well on the app, I have a policy number and it says I have a policy, and I’m paying for it, but then when it comes down to me trying to use it, I don’t have a policy and there’s no way for you to put your own policy number in it. You just go to the app and then hit make a claim and it’s supposed to port your information over and then the agent would tell me that I need to call the claims people and the claims people was telling me to do something else, so it’s just ridiculous. It’s just a circus so as soon as I get my car up and running, I’m gonna have to take my own receipt and go by there and get my refund but then I’m not so sure I want to continue to keep this insurance if I’m gonna catch hell trying to make a claim, so this is just bullshit.
