Kirby Girl Had an after hours emergency and they were fantastic. I will continue to go here because of the care and compassion my pet and I received. They walked me through every step of everything, explored all possibilities and answered every question. They were amazing with my animal- even though it was finally decided to go that not so great route- the injury was just too bad- It’s hard to lose a pet but they were very helpful and kind. Even the front desk ladies were amazing and kind. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you.

Johnny geeksheek We’ve lived in College Station long enough to have had several pets require emergency care at night. After our own experiences and discussions with other pet owners in the area, a troubling pattern has emerged with this veterinary hospital run by Texas A&M.
The clinic itself doesn’t seem to perform any actual diagnoses. Instead, they take every possible test sample and send it off to a lab, essentially outsourcing all the diagnostic work. This results in excessive and often unnecessary testing, which comes with an exorbitant price tag. Once the results finally come back, their “treatment plan” consistently involves one of two options: spend thousands of additional dollars on more tests and treatments (which they can’t promise are even related to the pet’s actual condition), or put the pet down.
This approach feels more like a predatory business model than compassionate veterinary care. The lack of transparency and the apparent prioritization of profit over patient care are deeply concerning. Emergency visits are already emotionally and financially draining, and this clinic’s practices only make an already difficult situation worse.
We strongly encourage Texas A&M to overhaul their processes, prioritize genuine diagnostics, and provide clearer, more ethical care options to pet owners.

mike towns Had an AAEP 360 veterinary conference there and it was fantastic. Facilities are top class, especially the new Veni Vidi Vici buildings, but also the large animal hospital. Staff, professors and clinicians were amazing, and extremely friendly, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. A great spirit and atmosphere and energy there, evidenced by happy engaged students and lack of rivalry with the clinicians. All in all the best AAEP experience ever, and just a pleasant and rewarding experience overall.
