Devan Winegarden To prospective students!! Picking PSCA as a school was the best decision I made. Brenda is a great teacher, she is kind and patient and teaches in the way you learn as an individual. You get to work on actual guests your first weekend here, which many other schools dont. You get physical text books and rarely do anything online, so you are not required to have a tablet or laptop. Your textbooks and tools are given to you on your first day! I strongly suggest you take a look at this school before deciding to go somewhere just because they are a big name. You will get an amazing education at PSCA with Brenda!

Christina Fernandez I had the most relaxing experience at Professional Skin Care Academy. Makenzie, a student esthetician, did a wonderful job! She communicated well, was gentle, and made sure I was comfortable. Once finished, my face was soft and glowing; I felt refreshed. Makenzie was terrific! Come on by and check them out!

Jeanette J I was thoroughly impressed with my experience and the facial that I received. Makenzie was my esthetician. She made me feel very comfortable and she took her time. She was gentle and noticeably thorough. When I pointed out a need concerning my skin, as she started the session -- she addressed it as she worked. I was going to a baseball game afterwards. She thoughtfully added skin protection to protect my skin from the sun. I highly recommend Makenzie and the amazing experience she provides. Thank you, Makenzie!

Shannon Robbins My daughter is 3 and has extreme separation anxiety. We have been going to INLC since April. All the teachers have been amazingly patient and kind in helping her adjust. My daughter absolutely loves school now! She has learned so much in the short time she has been here and they are always doing fun activities with the kids. WE LOVE IT HERE!

Katelyn Garcia Management doesn’t care at all. No training is given when you are hired. I was just let go over the stupid thing yesterday after my shift, over the phone. No warning, no discussion about the situation, nothing. But in the short time I was there I’ve witnessed a few teachers thump kids in the face during nap time because they weren’t listening or being loud, and another forcefully shoving the kids face down on their cots during naptime cause they’re not listening or not going to sleep. They had suspended a worker (who doesn’t speak English) for pulling out a weapon on the directors mother, who also works there, but was able to come back. I’ve been forgotten about when they know when I get off. I stayed an extra 20 minutes because the owner was closing and she didn’t know the schedules, but when I asked all that was said was give me a minute. Well that then turned into 20 minutes, because the assistant manager or whatever she is left so she could go to a rangers game. They are lacking in communication. They are doing remodels and construction on the building during business hours so the workers are constantly in and out of the building. All in all that facility is very unprofessional and they don’t care about their employees, or at least not the newer ones. You don’t get assistance from them whatsoever. And if you do you’re in the wrong. I wouldn’t work here or enroll my children here.

Siara Powell Currently right now the receptionist at the front office was so rude. Once you put in your application the first time to enroll your children keep it there. I needed to enroll my child due to personal accommodations. So I did but then when they said I had to wait 48hrs for paperwork to process. But wanted to demand my money. It was like I was paying for nothing at all. So I ended up finding someone who did. But then I wanted to try to give the place a chance to see how things would work out. Smh I highly regret that lady refused to take my application the second time and was highly rude about it. The thing about it was why did she refuse my application if I’m the first place the paperwork wasn’t processed and I still had a 48hr wait time. My child was never enrolled to begin with. So disappointed with this place. They never gave my child the chance nor opportunity to actually experience anything. Just said no right to my daughter face. When paperwork was never on file.

Meagan Luallin We absolutely love this school! As a University-model school, our kids attend in-person class two days a week and complete their work from home the other three days. It’s been a great way to teach them responsibility and time management, while still having the support of amazing teachers and a structured curriculum. Our kids genuinely enjoy going to school and are challenged in all the right ways. It’s been a good fit for our family, and we are so thankful to be a part of this community!

Kaitlyn Bray This is our first year at a university model school and after this successful year Im not sure I can ever go back to "traditional" school. Mercy Preparatory Academy is the perfect blend of academic excellence and family values. The school fosters an environment that embodies faith, love, and joy in Christ and they spread that throughout the community. Every teacher and administrator is a joy to be around and is truly passionate about teaching kids and building community with families. As a parent I always feel welcomed and included in every program offered, and I actually look forward to schoolwide events because of the welcoming and loving culture they have created. Its truly a special place and I feel so blessed to be a part of it.

As a Christian school, they foster an atmosphere of care, respect, and faith. The teachers are highly qualified and dedicated, and the curriculum is both challenging and enriching. The school also has a fun and inviting atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable for our kids. This was our first year and everyone welcomed us from day one! It feels like we have been apart of the community forever. It’s been a great fit for our family, and we’re grateful for the positive, supportive community they’ve created.

Since my child started attending, she has been thriving and has learned so many valuable things, including how to pray. She now loves to pray before every meal and leads us all in bowing our heads with her. The staff here is truly amazing and dedicated. Thank you for everything you do!

Megan Moriarty We absolutely love the staff and environment at Childrens Montessori Center!! Our little man has been attending this school for 1 1/2 years and its the BEST setting he has been in! He absolutely LOVES all the staff there and has learned/grown so much by attending here!! We are super sad that he will be heading to school after this year and will be leaving this amazing place! Keeping our fingers crossed that we are able to do after school care! This place has become family and we arent ready to leave them!!

Daniel Bowman We had a pretty rough experience with another daycare and we switched to CMC 6+ months ago. Things have been great since day one. Everyone feels like a family, they’re very communicative, and our daughter loves going there. They have a great outdoor area and do events/themes weekly the kids love.

Michele Carrasco Truly enjoyed sending my boys to YaYa’s. The teachers are wonderful and genuinely enjoy/care for the children. Love how clean the facility is at all times. The teachers are great with communicating and providing multiple photos throughout the day, which is wonderful! It’s bittersweet we had to leave due to moving. If you’re looking for care in Waxahachie, definitely give YaYa’s a shot!

Kate Praslicka We LOVE Yayas Yuniversity! The staff is incredible and they truly love each child and family that walks through their doors. Im always so impressed with how clean everything is anytime Im there and my son is always so happy to learn and play, which makes my mama heart happy.

DeVine Yayas is so much more than a educational school for my son. They have become a safe space and second home while Im away working. Every morning I drop my boy off it always smells amazing from the breakfast they make and hes always greeted with happy play mates and his teacher telling him to wash his hands. Its always clean and my son rarely gets sick. The teachers are always professional and understanding and Im grateful to have found such a wonderful school for my boy. 10 out of 10 Mommy recommended.

Nicole Mancera Turner is beyond amazing school to be apart of! My son had such a great learning experience at the school. All the teachers and staff are loving, approachable and really care for all the children. The school made it such an easy transition for us especially coming from out of state. My son who has special needs was well taken care of and learned so much from his teachers.

nicole cantrell When I google challange academy this comes up for what ever reason . This review is for challange acadamy not this school I had wrote a review on challnge academy and think the district blocked me out of that school cant find it any more. So here it is again the challange academy lets kids stand out side in cold waiting to be checked in no supervision out side . If you dont get your kid there by 830 the principal locks the doors and does not allow kids in. A teacher at this school flipped off my son and caused him and another student out and it was never addressed. Kids are bullying and nothing is done cause there is no proof and they dont take the word of "bad kids". The school does not take 504 serious. The school has serious issues that are not being addressed. And blocked me out after I wrote a review on the challange academy it self. Told the school of serious issues about what kids are doikg there nothing .

Brianna G I went to SJCS for 3 years, and let me tell you, those three years were the best part of my life so far. Now entering high school I realize how much I miss SJCS and the people there. The teachers prepare you as much as they can and push you be the best version of yourself. Not only are they great teachers but great when you need help or want to make a club or a sports team. My friends and I wanted to make a volleyball team together, so we asked our temporary principal. To our surprise our wish to make a volleyball team came true, we weren’t the best but we at least got what we wished for and got to experience some fun together. Religion hasn’t always been the biggest part of my life until I came here. I learned so much that made me feel closer to God. If you want your children to experience that and feel closer to God, this is the school for you. One last thing, my favorite. The people are the best part. They are what make up this school. Teacher, classmates, any staff. They make the experience so much better. I met my closest friends here and I am very thankful for them. I will always support this school and love it forever. If I could, I would come back! All my love to SJCS

Tara Monk We transferred from public school to St Josephs a few years ago and wish we would have done it sooner! Its been a wonderful school...quality education, organized, and professional staff who truly care for their students. I just wish they had a high school.

Jean Rogers SJCS is a beautiful school with teachers who are dedicated to their students. The preschool program is outstanding and our children thrived in their school age program. We are so grateful to have been able to send our kiddos here!

Haleys Comments After how they handled the 2024 graduation they should get zero stars. I’ve heard of only bad things coming from WISD. Glad my kids will never attend.

austin lowry After our previous PDO closed down, it seemed like no place would be able to hold up to what we grew accustomed to. After a year and a half of having our kids attend Funday School, we have been so fortunate, appreciative, and most importantly at ease by being able to trust a place to care for the kids and not give us a single reason to worry or doubt our trust with them. We’ve seen our kids grow, learn, and be excited to hop out of the car every day here. We’re going to truly miss this when they age out and begin a new phase of kindergarten. Thank you to Ms. Samantha, Ms. Karen, and all the teachers for your positive impact and amazing memories you’ve given us.

Mike Taylor This is an excellent school. My nephew goes to this Academy and is a brilliant young man. Courses include riding 4 wheelers in the back yard, porch-sitting 101, target practice, constructing incendiary devices, swimming in a luxurious pool that’s just the most beautiful emerald color, and southern culinary studies (grillin’). If you’ve got the opportunity to get some schoolin’, definitely do it here.
