aia adel I love Dallas day school ! I honestly never felt that relief towards any daycare before DDS. My son loves his teachers there and they do tons of events and activities to keep parents engage ! . And the fact that I can see him all the time via the virtual streaming keeps me relieved . Totally will recommend it to anyone searching for a safe environment to their kids ☺️

Jordan Campbell I cannot recommend DDS enough. Our daughter attended DDS for about four years, from their infant class through pre-k. Every person who works there, from the teachers to the administrative staff, has such a heart for kids and loved our daughter as if she were there own. We had to switch schools due to moving, and we are crazy sad to leave the DDS family. I love that they make things easy, from supplying formula and food, have long hours, and offer special events like parents night out. My daughter turned to me the other day (after having been out of DDS for over a month), and said, “Ms. Liz says I’m going to grow up and change the world.” And that is why I love DDS in a nutshell. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Julia Brooks DDS is amazing and I would absolutely recommend it to any new parents in the area! Unfortunately we moved out of state and had to switch our son to a super fancy/much more expensive daycare in our new city, and it is lightyears behind the love/kindness/education/support/fun/opportunities my son and us as parents received at DDS. The admins and teachers are incredibly caring and I truly feel I co-parented my child with them and they loved him and were as invested in his success as I was. The schools hours and limited days off was such an asset to hardworking parents, and the parents night out evenings should be a standard across similar facilities. I truly did not realize how good we had it until we left and DDS is the #1 reason I miss Dallas -

Brin Hart I attended The Carlisle school when I was a child. I woke up every day excited to see everyone. I still have many amazing memories from this school and The Carlisle Family. I found my love of art here and I never felt left out. Mrs.Carlisle would sit with each student to see where they were at academically and teach them as they go. I highly recommend The Carlisle School. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.

Yuting Luo The Carlisle school is the best school ever. I’m so glad I found this school for my daughters. My older one was enrolled in a daycare and she was not be nicely treated. My friend recommended this school to me. My kids are so happy here and feel beloved as always. We have stayed here over two years. Mrs. C, Ms Dina and Ms Maria and kids always like a big family. Mrs. C always teaches kids reading, music and poets etc. I would STRONGLY recommend this school if you are looking for a great place for your kid/kids.

Dr. Heather Hahn The Carlisle School is absolutely incredible. My daughter has been attending for several years. The instruction is phenomenal with full Spanish immersion; I’m always so impressed with what she is learning and the knowledge she shares. My daughter has grown both intellectually, as well as developed social emotional skills via the well balanced implementation of free play and structured learning. The school helps to cultivate self regulation techniques for emotional intelligence. I feel comfortable knowing my daughter is in a safe environment. Mrs. C and the other teachers are truly compassionate and nurturing. I couldn’t recommend this school any more highly.

Carmen S I am writing this review after much thought to, hopefully, help other children from having the devastating experience our child had at Westwood in the upper elementary. After the departure of a key administrator in 2019, the UE (grades 4-6) seemed to completely fall apart. Our child was disparaged, demeaned, and punished for minor offenses, sometimes, on a daily basis. The classroom teacher swore at our child while banging her fist on a desk. Complete chaos from students such as swearing, throwing each other against the wall and bullying went, largely, unaddressed. Attempts to speak directly with teachers or administrators escalated the problems. The teachers were highly authoritarian and did not seem to understand or have the desire to work with this age. Additionally, we were consistently given false information about our child’s academic progress. The head of school was very passive and ineffectual in dealing with our issues and ended up making the situation almost unbearable. No child should be treated the way our child was, particularly in an environment that claims to be the opposite. There are a few bright lights at Westwood. The young, enthusiastic language teacher was a refuge for our child; the music teacher is fabulous and the admissions director is a kind and compassionate person. The facility is beautiful. However, no physical structure can make up for harmful treatment and lack of compassion, understanding and empathy.

Anatole I was a former student here, and I can say from the 9 years I attended this school it is an excellent place to learn. The staff here were incredibly friendly and supportive of me through my time there as a student. I personally also have some learning differences, and despite this Westwood provided all the needed accommodations for me to do my best, and succeed. Westwood was also very thorough in teaching like skills, proper manners, as well as social skills. As for the teachers, from kindergarten-8th grade every teacher I got was incredible, I did have one incident in 3rd grade with a teacher named Mrs Chen though, where she publicly shamed a project I didnt do as well as the other students, when my learning differences were the culprit of that, but that never happened again, and I truly do believe that is a one off, and there is no need to worry about that. I highly recommend Westwood, and I cannot thank the staff enough for all the skills I was taught.

Jennifer Milliron We had high hopes for this school, and academically they were ok. However, my child in 4th grade experienced bullying when she didnt have to wear a mask, and even her teacher tried to help her be "compassionate" about "wearing a mask for the flu"... totalitarian concepts are definitely taught and the head of the school, Heather, did point out to me that Montessori was developed from socialism, and her main priority is "whats important for the community", not protecting individual freedoms. She also was against CRT being taught yet couldnt discuss any of their tenets, and was unfamiliar with the 1619 Project- CRT ideas are definitely being discussed in the classrooms. This was, unfortunately, a large disappointment. Beware- you will get NO REFUNDS if they unilaterally change their policy (which now is mandating masks WITHOUT legal requirement and ZERO parental input) in any way. I strongly recommend looking into Acton Academies, if you are looking for a great learner-oriented school

Christian and Monica Kilgore Great experience calling this school. My child does not attend but I have lots of experience calling schools/childcare’s in DFW. I believe it was the admissions office I spoke with - the lady I spoke with went above and beyond in returning my voicemail. My child is not old enough to attend this school, but she took the time to help me research some childcare options In my area. Customer service goes a LONG way in my book and I want to leave this review to thank you for the excellent customer service.

Marlane Mendoza The school and staff is amazing. All 5 of my children have attended Santa Clara from pre K3 thru 8th grade. The school has grown so much thanks to the dedication and hard work of the principal Mrs . Matous and her staff. May the Lord continue to bless the Santa Clara community.

Jeanette Ramirez Both of my daughters have attended this school since they were in PreK. The school has always been transparent about everything happening at the school. I love that all the teachers know my children by name regardless of what grade they teach. All the staff gets to know you on a personal level. My daughters and I love the new principal and all the changes that have been implemented this past school year. The after care program that is offered at the school is wonderful and my children love staying after school even when they dont need to. If you have any questions or concerns the teachers and even the principal reply back right away. The school is about 20 minutes from where we live but I do not mind the drive at all if my children are receiving the best education. We love this school and all the amazing teachers!

Chris Shultz We can’t say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we joined the TKS community, we were welcomed with warmth, care, and a genuine commitment to each child’s success. The teachers are not only incredibly skilled and passionate about education, but they also take the time to truly know and nurture each student. Our children absolutely loved going to school every day—they felt seen, heard, and challenged in the best ways. The learning environment is thoughtful, creative, and deeply supportive, striking the perfect balance between structure and freedom to explore. TKS is a very special place!

Andrew Snow The Kessler School is truly a gem in the heart of Oak Cliff. From the very first tour, we knew this was more than just a school—it’s a vibrant, nurturing community that really sees and values each child. Both of our kids attended TKS, and they were incredibly well prepared for their next endeavors—academically, socially, and emotionally. The foundation they received here has made a lasting impact. The teachers are incredible—caring, creative, and genuinely invested in their students’ growth. The small class sizes mean our children got the attention and support they needed to thrive. We love the emphasis on character, curiosity, and community—and the House System brings it all together in such a meaningful way. It’s rare to find a school that balances academic excellence with joyful, hands-on learning, but TKS does it effortlessly. We’re so grateful to be part of this school and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Bobbi simpson reagor TKS is an amazing school with an incredible community of educators. From the ECC to Middle School, these educators are not only supportive, but they tend to tailor the classroom to the needs of the child. If you have an opportunity and are considering a private education for your infant or 8th grader, please schedule a walk through and bring your family along!
