I had a disappointing experience at this Marshalls location. I found two of the exact same sweaters on the sales floor, the only difference being the size. The size medium was priced lower than the size small, which I needed. I asked if the price could be matched since the items were identical aside from size.
I was told this could not be done because the sweaters had different barcodes. While I understand policies and system limitations, the issue was not the policy itself but how it was communicated. The coordinator I spoke with was dismissive and unkind, which made the interaction uncomfortable.
As a customer, I expected a respectful explanation and a willingness to help. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope management can address this and provide additional customer service training to ensure better interactions in the future.
