1 /5 Rose G: Absolutely terrible customer service at Hemline in Rice Village. I’ve been in twice now, and both times I was completely ignored. Most recent time was today 6/11/25. The (3) young girls working there don’t greet you, don’t offer to help, and act like you don’t even exist. No eye contact, no “hello,” nothing — just standing around chatting with each other like it’s a social club, not a retail job. It’s rude, unprofessional, and honestly just embarrassing for a store that tries to present itself as upscale. I won’t waste my time going back. If management cares at all, they seriously need to train their staff on how to treat customers with even a shred of respect.

She was incredibly helpful and attentive, and went out of her way to assist me with finding the perfect swimsuit and dresses for an upcoming event. Not only did Heather have a great eye for style, but she also took the time to listen to my preferences and needs, making the shopping process a breeze. In addition to her expertise in clothing, Heather also helped me pick out some beautiful jewelry to complete my outfits. Her knowledge of accessories was impressive, and she provided me with a range of options that perfectly complemented my choices. Overall, I cannot recommend Heather at Hemline enough. Her exceptional customer service and fashion sense made for an enjoyable and successful shopping trip. I will definitely be returning to Hemline in the future, and I hope to work with Heather again soon!

5 /5 Javelle Johnson: Absolutely love this boutique! From the eclectic-fashionable pieces to the warming-helpful staff, Hemline Rice Village has become a stapled favorite. I’d also love to give a special S/O to store manager, Hawa, for being consistently amazing and so very helpful. I can’t remember how many times I’ve come in to the shop 5 minutes to close and she’s greeted me with a smile and provided styling assistance.

5 /5 Johnny Tran: Great selection and incredibly helpful sales associate! Rachael helped me find an amazing dress for the Taylor Swift concert. She encouraged me to try a few dresses that were outside of my comfort zone. I bought one of them and received numerous compliments.

5 /5 Giovanni Lewis: Love, love, love this boutique! Great customer service and they have the cutest clothes. My daughter and I recently went dress shopping and Hawa helped us find the perfect dress for my daughter’s cotillion! Ask for Hawa, next time you shop, she’s amazing!!!
