5 /5 Iain Jackson: I popped over from Scotland for a hat and boots, my experience was nothing short of absolute excellence. Upon entering the store Chris greeted us and assisted me with every aspect of my hat purchase and boot purchase, he was excellent, friendly really nice and engaging to chat with. I ended up also getting a belt and buckle along with my hat and boots. I enjoyed my time there and would recommend the store to anyone who wants genuine nice people to help them. Well done Chris and Id have a pint of ale or Guinness with him anytime.

3 /5 MaLinda Cool: People working there are absolutely wonderful. They dont have enough options or enough sizes for women. Makes it SUPER difficult when youre a female needing a smaller size in a certain type of boot.yes it can be ordered and shipped into the store but you dont know if its comfortable enough or the right fit before ordering it. Which isnt helpful when you need a specific type for an event/occasion on a specific schedule.

3 /5 The GZone!: The GZones Review of Cavenders Boot City on 3110 E Central Texas Expy, Killeen, TX 76543: On a recent trip to Austin, I decided to drive down to Killeen (my 2nd visit) to see a close friend. While there, we stopped by Cavenders Boot City, as I was on the hunt for another pair of exotic boots to add to my collection. I already own a pair of Crocodile and Ostrich boots by Tecovas, but this time, I had my eye on something unique—Pirarucu, an exotic fish skin from the Amazon. Let me say, for this GZone Review that my experience at Cavenders could have easily been a one-star one, as Cavenders isnt the most welcoming or helpful when you walk in and as a customer you are on your own at this location. However, it was elevated to a memorable visit thanks to Tanner, a Texas Tech graduate and proud Red Raiders representative. Tanner’s excellent customer service and genuine enthusiasm turned what might have been a disappointing trip into a positive experience. His knowledge of the boots and friendly demeanor made me really want to find a pair that suited my taste. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up purchasing boots because the majority of the styles were knob-toe (must be a Texas thing) and others that were available didn’t quite match what I was looking for. Still, thanks to Tanner, I left with a great impression of this location. I’ll definitely keep Cavenders in mind for future boot-shopping adventures. **Tanner, keep up the excellent customer service!
