My sister has been scoping out an item in the clearance aisles for about a month. She was super excited to see the price dropped $8.69. It was originally discounted to $34.79. The $8.69 sticker was originally between the item and black lid because it was in a security case, so you actually had to pick it up and look at it to see it. The clearance sticker could not have been switched because it was in a security case. When i pointed out the price to the casher, he scanned both bar codes, and the exact same description popped out on the cashiers screen. Only the prices were different. When I brought the discrepancy to the attention of your cashier, I was met with a lack of professionalism. And as for the manager? Oh, she bolted like a bat out of hell, leaving the poor cashier to deal with my justified outrage. She didnt even have the decency to speak with me directly. Cowardly move, Burlington, real classy. When I asked to speak with the store manager, they did not want to give me any information on how to get in contact with them. When I did speak to another manager, they stated the item was purchased after we left EMPLOYEES KEEPING ITEMS FOR THEMSELVES AND MANAGERS HELPING.
