Harrison Kerr: Gorgeous scenery, great place for horses and for mountain bikes, fishing or just walking. I’ve done all of it here and love being in nature. Such a peaceful area. Plenary of room to park and unload horses as well as a place to mount for folks with disabilities. I used to often take my dogs on horse back rides as well. Very dog friendly, as long as you have a good handle on your dog off leash is fine.
Pam Jones: It warmed my heart to walk around this place! We should never forget what our military forces/first responders/ and caring citizens do for us every day. This place is a great example of respect for those who serve. Thank you to all who helped create such a wonderful monument!
KarMaza Bee: Enjoyable. Walking the path around it is relaxing and visually stimulating. Squirrels love some shell on peanuts (raw). You can walk your dog. Plenty of rest room facilities. Tennis, basketball, volley ball. Something for any age. Right next to senior activity center.
Linda Hartman: This is a lovely park with a playground, bathrooms, covered pavilion, ample parking, small pond, and walking trails. The walking trails are nicely shaded with plenty of trees. The park is dog friendly and even has waste bags available if you forget to bring some.
We had a great time there with our dogs on the trails and we plan to visit again.
Natalie Riley: Great dog park! My dog always has so much fun and its a great way to socialize puppies!!!
P.S. The dog park is NOT where you bring your kids, especially little ones. There are plenty of other areas where kids can play - the playground for instance. The dog park is for dogs.
Stacy Chapman: We went last weekend on Saturday around 8 (said lights go off at 10), and the lights were off...if they would have been on, it would have been great. I would have given 5 stars.
