Woodcreek Church - Richardson
Viv W.: Was visiting family in the area and wanted to attend church services in person. Had been to two others before I landed here for my last weekend in the area. Driving in, the impression one gets is that the church is huge by the size of the lot as well as the building. Traffic flow is very well managed but guest parking isn’t really obvious, or at least to me. Walked in and was wonderfully greeted at the door, but other than that nothing else. Walked in to the sanctuary and was disappointed of the size and how cramped it felt. Didn’t really feel “welcome” or the warmth of feeling like I belonged. The praise and worship team was great and really should have set the tone for the service in my opinion. The message was great and I felt so blessed to have been provided the opportunity to participate in communion with this community of believers. Absolutely loved the closing praise song, great way to end the service and left me wanting to spread the message. Overall, the church and the message that was delivered were on point and truly enjoyed learning from their perspective. The church doesn’t seem to be very diverse, and most of the folks I encountered did not really give the impression of being very welcoming. I was really hoping that this would be a church I could come home to whenever I visit family, but kind of just fell short for me, which happens.

Neena-Aakash Trivedi: Pastor Matt is friendly, knowledgeable, and such an easy person to work with. We used this church for our wedding ceremony and it was absolutely beautiful. Pastor Matt was gracious enough to change some of the elements of the wedding in order to accommodate our Indian traditions. Barbara and her team were very easy to work with as well. The sanctuary is beautiful and spacious.
