5 /5 A A: Viewpoint of the Flower, also known as Mirador de la Flor, is part of a monument dedicated to Selena Quintanilla-Perez. It is located next to her statue on Shoreline Blvd. The exhibit is FREE and open to the public. There is free street parking, so you can stop and take pictures.

5 /5 S J: The Selena Memorial was beautiful. It was a lovely walk from The Omni Hotel that I stayed at while in Corpus Christi. Definitely a nice stop to enjoy a bit of her beauty. She was a beautiful soul and I love how she was memorialized on the bay.

5 /5 Debra Blackwell: Hello, going to Corpus Christi and seeing it yesterday it was not really nice and fun and didn’t even really have to do with money or anything like that. It was just for the fact of getting out of the house and going and seeing something and never seen before. That’s what it’s really fun about things you don’t have to have money to go enjoy things in life not all the time.

5 /5 Islam Tasnim Ara: The Mirador de la Flor (Overlook of the Flower) is a touching tribute to the famous Corpus Christi Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez. It is located by the Selena Memorial Statue on the Corpus Christi Bayfront Seawall. The monument was unveiled in 1997 and it honors Selenas musical legacy and contributions to Corpus Christi. The monument features a motif of white roses (Selenas favorite flower) and a memorial plaque describing the monuments importance. We visited there during our trip to Corpus Christi. For parking, there is a lot of parking zone around the memorial, but it gets filled since it is a very popular tourist attraction. We parked just beside the Norma Urban park. A must-see for Selena fans and anyone seeking to appreciate Corpus Christis heritage.
