Dr. Wilson is a fantastic man and minister, and is honestly the reason I chose this church and became a proud member. Being a southern gentleman, Dr Wilson tells it like it is, preaches The Truth as It is written (NOT “edited” like other churches have), and has a great way of connecting his stories with each sermon, and in turn, connecting with you/the audience personally — plus, he’s kinda funny too! The orchestra and choir are top notch as well. Everyone at Southcrest has always been very warm and welcoming, but not overbearing like others can be, and they do such a great job at helping the Lubbock community, and anywhere around the world where help is needed.
