5 /5 Scotty Swingler: During my mid-20s, this was the only church in Waco where I felt fully wanted, invited, accepted, and valued. Authentic, Christ-centered community takes precedence over programming. Josh Carney is probably the most humble and servant-hearted pastor I know. And unlike many consumeristic churches in our culture, UBC will challenge you spiritually and intellectually so you will grow in your sanctification. If I still lived in Waco, this is where Id be plugged in. Id encourage you to check it out!

5 /5 Christian Brandon: Ive been going hers for over a year and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is so inviting and the music is great. I believe that music is one of the highest forms of Worship, and they definitely believe this too. Jamison is a fantastic musician. Josh, our pastor, is a great speaker engages you as a listener without even trying.

5 /5 K Lairmore: The best church family Ive ever been part of by far! UBC is one of a kind. Our teaching pastor, Josh, gives much more in-depth, challenging, and theological sermons than most preachers Ive heard. Our worship pastor, Jamie, writes most of the music we sing himself, and his lyrics go far deeper than your typical happy-clappy praise chorus. To the reviewer who mentioned Jamie plugging his album at the end of the service (during the announcements), he did so because UBC places a lot of emphasis both on celebrating and supporting each other and on championing the arts. UBC has a strong outreach ministry, not only abroad but in our community as well. The church is mostly made up of college students from Baylor, but in the past 9 years that Ive attended our childrens ministry and youth group have blossomed, and theres a steadily growing number of adults who call UBC their church home. Definitely worth a Sunday morning, or many! ❤️

5 /5 Daniel: UBC has been my home for over 8 years now. My wife and I have attended this church together that entire time, and we have never felt more at home within a church community. The genuine love that UBC pastors and leadership show to the congregation, and vice versa, is something that cant be replicated; its organic, it can only come from a community that values and seeks the love of Christ. If youre looking for a community of pastors, leaders, and believers that value the individual experience of Christ, UBC is for you!
