5 /5 Hajila Kimeria-Njenga: I love this salon and the people here. Its my 3rd visit and to me this is like a spa treatment and time to unwind. Their wash and steam treatment service is thorough. My scalp has suffered from itchiness and dryness for years but after getting my washes done here my scalp has healed. Ive been served twice by Christian and Constance-who does a wonderful job at trimming hair. Everyone is really nice, friendly and professional. They are gentle on your hair watching to not damage your edges. I highly recommend them!

3 /5 mel b: I debated leaving this review b/c I had such a good experience with the other services on my hair but I wouldn’t recommend bleaching hair here.. I got my hair dyed in December , it was my first time doing it professional and wanted blonde highlights. I noticed even in the shop there was stringy pieces that we cut out, I didn’t worry because I was told the rest of the curls would bounce back. Unfortunately it February and did not bounce back. I paid almost $800 to pretty much cut almost all of the highlights on the bottom half of my hair out due to major damages to my curls. I have ALOT of hair and the stylist did leave the bleach on the bottom half for over 40minutes which after googling realized is a big no no.. Kinda wish I saved my money and did it myself :(

1 /5 Jerusha Britton: I had a very disappointing experience at this salon and, unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcomed—there was no greeting, just looks up and down. My stylist eventually introduced herself and asked what style I wanted. I told her I wanted straight-back braids, and she asked if I had any scalp issues, to which I responded no. We had a brief conversation about why I was trying a new salon, as my regular stylist is in Dallas and I was hoping to find someone closer to home. Things took a turn when we got to the wash station. Another stylist kept looking me up and down, which made me uncomfortable, but I tried to ignore it. When my stylist started detangling my hair, she was ripping through it roughly. She paused to ask if I was tender-headed, and I said yes—but despite that, she continued detangling with the same roughness. It got to the point where I had to ask her to stop and just wash out the conditioner because I did not like how my hair was being handled. Instead of adjusting her approach, she got an attitude, washed it out, and then walked off to speak with the manager. At this point, I was feeling frustrated. The manager came over and asked if she could help with my hair, but I declined and just wanted to pay for what had been done. However, what happened next was even more disappointing. I originally booked straight-back cornrows for $65, but despite never getting the style, I was charged $50 for what they called "detangling"—even though barely half my hair was detangled before I had to stop the process. While the staff remained polite overall, I felt scammed and deeply unsatisfied with how my hair was treated. As someone with 4C fine natural hair, it was clear that there was little consideration for my hair type, despite my stylist also having natural hair. The lack of professionalism and care made this a terrible experience for me. I would not return and do not recommend this salon to others who value proper hair care and transparency in pricing.
