  • What Clients Are Saying about The Church on the Square (on GG)
5 /5 yvette Schultz: The preaching at this church is the robust and meaty Truth. No watered down gospel there.
1 /5 James Williams: Very saddened to read in The Sun about the hateful stances taken by the pastor of this church against the LGBTQ+ community and the beautiful, welcoming mural in our city. I cant think of anything more diametrically opposed to the Gospels than evangelizing hatred towards a community that is already marginalized for being who God created them to be. Praying that the love, grace, and warm embrace of Jesus will overpower this pastors stance of fear, hatred, and destruction. Thankfully there are other faithful churches in Georgetown who believe in the call to love all of Gods people.
1 /5 Kathryn Harper: I will never attend a church where i am excluded because of how I look!! This place is sad. The minister has an alternative agenda because this is not what the Bible says. He openly makes fun of fat women along with so many other types of judgment calls that dont belong in church! What kind of leader is this.
5 /5 Keri Smith: I searched for quite a long time for a church the spoke plain truth in love. I attended many different churches while on that path, and found many that I liked, but none felt like HOME like Church on the Square did during the very first service I attended (which happened to be their first service ever). The minister and elders here really care for their flock and consider their words and behavior thoughtfully. They dont let fear keep them from speaking truth and they have created a unique environment where God is alive and honored. The members are friendly and open. No one puts on airs and everyone is welcome to come and see what a service is like. Praise God for COTS.
5 /5 Phil Brown: The Church on the Square is uniquely positioned to impact the culture of Georgetown for Christ. Its minister, Bradley Helgerson, is a soft-spoken scholar and teacher who brings history, culture, and faith together in a Biblical response to issues of the day. These are just plain good Texas folks walking in the Lordship of Christ.

DATA: Much admiration and respect for Pastor John Beukema. I have learned so much listening to the sermons he gives each week. Excellent interpretation of the Bible mixed with application to real world events. Thank you!
St. Helen Catholic Church - georgetown - Georgetown
Alfred Espinosa: Always loved this church except: 1. came for reconciliation not a sermon, thats what Sundays are for. Not fair to those waiting for confession prior to Saturday Mass. 2. Is this priest a bigot? Just because Im Mexican looking doesnt mean Im stupid; Im a computer scientist Father, born American. Dont talk down to me! Ive been studying the Bible for over 30 years; could teach you a few things. Not coming back.

Incredibly loving members who share and show God’s unconditional Love with every visitor and member. Beautiful, moving, and well-performed music that is easy to follow on the screen. Thank you God, for this church!

Zealous Queen: This is a deliverance ministry, a healing ministry and a very strong prayerful ministry. My life has changed so dramatically over the four years I have attended here. I’m thankful to have come in contact with the ministers in this place. They helped restore my marriage, set me free of anger, addiction, depression, anxiety, ocd, fear, mental illness, physical sickness and taught me how to be a better mother, stronger prayer warrior and evangelist. I’m forever greatful.

Jennifer Doerschlag: Great church! Very welcoming, especially to young families. Pastors are great with kids. Lots of adult Sunday school classes that you can choose from every Sunday, so you can learn a lot. We really like it here.
Cityview Bible Church - Round Rock
    Cityview Bible Church
Greg Moore: My family and I REALLY enjoy attending Cityview Bible Church. While visiting their services, I have found their pastoral staff to be friendly and focused on Christ. The music and singing are heartfelt and uplifting. Cityview is located in a fast growing community with a congregation that looks like the general assembly of the United Nations. Cityview teaches traditional conservative, Christian values, but they work very hard at steering clear of the toxic political morass that has swallowed up many Evangelical Christian churches today.
