5 /5 Nancy Clark: I visited this church shortly after the initial Covid "close-down." People were friendly, but it was an in & out experience for me. I returned recently and have been extremely impressed. The people are EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming. In addition, there were several people who remembered me from my first visits and warmly welcomed me back. The friendly, warm, accepting atmosphere is one of the reasons for my continued attendance. Pastor Marks sermons are Bible based: "If the Bible doesnt say it, he doesnt preach it."
Prior to Worship Services and Childrens Church that begins at 9:30, attendees can visit the "Grove Brew" where coffee and hot beverages are available. Sunday School for ALL Ages follows Worship Services 30 minutes later. During that interval, coffee, an array of sweets, rolls, light finger foods, and large pots of varying types of soup are available. Along with weekly activities for Middle & High Scool Youth, Wednesday evening Bible Study is from 5:30 to 6:30.
While not a "Mega-sized" Church where one can go for weeks, even months, and not see the same face, Sugar Grove Church has a "Mega-sized" calendar that offers Bible based activities throughout the week, not just on Sunday mornings.
