Stonegate Church - Midlothian (TX)

5 /5 Tone Nerds Guitar: This church is amazing, worship is incredible! The tone of both guitarists is wonderful. Their guitars are awesome and their pedalboards are the size of a twin size mattress. It’s clear that they are both running in stereo. I can’t tell if one of the players is middle eastern or Mexican but I appreciate diversity nonetheless. The tall one plays a Gretsch 6136TGLH it sounds pretty sweet and looks like an old Cadillac…. Coffee was ok but overall a pretty good experience

5 /5 T. Ingram: My family and I were invited by friends of ours and we enjoyed ourselves. The people were friendly, there is coffee available in the foyer, the worship team was amazing, and most importantly the Pastor preached a biblically sound message. My family and I would definitely visit again.

4 /5 Hannah Clough: There was hot chocolate. And there was coffee for the coffee people to consume and to keep them awake and happy. The chairs were nice and comfortable. The baptisms were well done. People who were getting Baptised shared a bit about themselves.

5 /5 Vanessa Unangst: We have been coming to Stonegate since moving to Midlothian in 2021. It is evident that the pastors love God and are committed to building more followers of Jesus. This is a place where you feel accepted, known and welcomed each and every visit. And as a mom, the kids ministry women are amazing! God bless the leaders of Stonegate for modeling what it looks like to love and follow Christ.

1 /5 N J: I’ve been searching for a home and thought I could make this church my home but I don’t get a warm and welcoming feeling here. The people don’t hardly look at you , if they do they don’t smile or speak …only about 2 people that I recall. I’m African American and even the African Americans are not friendly, only one lady that speak and hug whenever I see her. And the word which is the MOST important , is delivered in a way that I have not experienced. For instance this past Sunday it was on marriage, and look at your spouse and hold their hand, and this was the entire sermon. If you are not with there with a spouse it made me feel so out of place. I noticed people walking in and out more than ever before. I want a place of worship that reaches to everyone, all circumstances. And not to feel cold stares from the people in the congregations.
