3 /5 Ауден Лассо Чавес: Theres a lack of understanding of the importance of good taste of beauty and what it is meant to theological express to the congregation. The priests and the community were great but these are the kind of churches that the building feels almost cold like something out of the USSR which frustrating because I know Orthodox churches didnt lose all their glorious beauty but we did. Our Catholic churches are supposed to Theologically represent the beauty of Gods creation which is not abstract. The problem with Abstract art is that it lowers the human mind rather than to exalting it into that which transcends. Its not about wealthy or poor, its about our relationship with God, and being grateful for the beauty of His creation.

4 /5 Gary Samaniego: I attended the Rite of Acceptance with the RCIA class. The church is fairly large and pretty, although not ornate. Since it wasnt a regular mass, I cant say what thats like. Sorry, but I didnt get any pictures.

5 /5 Ricardo alcala: I love to go and pray. It is a lovely place, a tranquil place where I can have Fellowship with my Lord Jesus Christ. I also want to give thanks to their Ministry. They have done wonders in the community. I firmly believe that they are doing what Jesus Christ would like them to do even though, this time and in this generation, theres a lot of confusion about religion. Im not confused. Theres only one God, and he sees our hearts. That is why St. Steven Church its one of my choices of worship and prayer. Im also thrilled St.Stephen has opened the doors to A A. That is a perfect act of benevolence. There is so much pain and suffering in the world today with mental health addictions and alcoholism, and Im glad St Stephen is part of the solution for everyone in El Paso, Texas. I want to invite you to join ST. Stephen and celebrate our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you very much in the name of Jesus Christ. Respectfully your humble servant

My wifes funeral mass was so beautiful and perfect during this difficult time of my wifes passing. May the Lord always bless you. We love you so much. Frankie: As a young person of faith, this church is failing to attract new members and retain its younger base. The church isnt inviting at all. The process is boring and not in any way captivating. The environment is dated and the summer months are HOT. everything is really dry and has no grab. Standing and sitting and standing and sitting... The member base here is an older generation ( which shows its target audience) This church needs help! There is a Christian church down the road that is engaging! Its captivating, I can walk in with a drink, jeans, a snack, in hand and sit down on a coushined seat... Not a wooden bench. And hear tons of relating stories about christ and faith. I am in no way advocating for a switch but... When the environment isnt grabbing me, its really hard to pay any attention to what is happening without falling asleep or wondering what was just said. Look around and hopefully this church can attract members in the future. Also, Im not sure what the priest is saying 90% of the time. Maybe its a language barrier. I fondly remember father Joe years ago. He was progressive for his time and jokes around alot. Please update everything! and they will come.

Chantal De Leon: What amazes me about this church are the friendships people have with one another, and the family that’s been built because of it. When moving here two years ago, I noticed the way people were involved in each other’s lives throughout the week. It was different to me, but it made my transition easier and it felt like home. These past couple of years I’ve been able to grow in my own personal walk with God and learn new things about his character, and even mine by going to scriptures and also studying out certain topics with my small group. It’s great being able to see people of all ages loving one another and striving to glorify God in their daily walks.

Jose Tapia: First time in this church for my cousin’s wedding. I was pleasantly impressed by the beauty of the church and its decorations with Christmas motifs. Also the priest was very pleasant and laid back. Highly recommend it.

Seven Three: The entertainment was very good. People had a lot of fun and dancing to the music of several bands. The Mexican food plates were also good from enchiladas and gorditas are always the favorite. The bazar for held for 3 days and is a yearly event. One thing that needs to be work on, the walkways since it gets so crowded.
