Oakdale United Methodist Church - Stephenville
Michelle Helms: I enjoyed going there more than they enjoyed me being there. I ultimately quit going there when the pastor called me and said,"Michelle, this is Steve (pastor at the time). Im embarrassed and ashamed for what I am about to say, and I dont share their opinion. Im not saying that you arent welcome to continue coming, but if you do, it is going to divide the church." It was a Wednesday night and I was getting ready for bible study. I didnt go and I only went back one time when a couple invited me to visit them. I place no blame on the pastor that was there then.
