5 /5 Ben Dixon: The hospitality we were shown by the parishioners of St. Andrews was incredible. Fr. Ignatius gave a powerful homily on the centrality of humility and forgiveness in the spiritual life. If youre looking for a church where you and your family will be treated like family and can grow both spiritually and in the community, I doubt there is a better place than St. Andrew the First-Called.

From my first visit, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it easy to feel like you belong. Father Ignatius will give the most beautiful homilies youve ever heard. 5 /5 Kevin Myers: I was OCA, moved to Austin and changed to this ROCOR parish in the heart of bbq country. A little hard to find, but worth the effort. Don’t be concerned about showing up late. Lots of people do and nobody is too concerned about that. Kids are playing during the service, so bring kids, and there’s a meal that everyone is welcome to after the service. I’ve been there about 18 months and this tightly packed church is growing perhaps faster than any in the middle part of the US. It’s a bastion of love and sanity in a world gone mad.
