5 /5 Renee KH: I had always heard about this no-walls/open-air church on the beach, but had never seen it...So we visited this past a Sunday. ~ Next to the open-air Ukrainian Orthodox chapel my hubs & I were married in, I believe this is one of the coolest church structures ever (or @ least that I have ever seen). IMHO, there is no grander cathedral than Gods green earth under blue (or even gray) skies....

St. Andrew by the Sea is the only open-air Catholic church in the world where mass is celebrated outdoors year-round (weather permitting). Sheila Kerls: I feel I should disclose that Ive gone to Second Baptist for quite a while. People are friendly and glad to see new faces. Good teaching, both from the pulpit and in classes. Nursery, Sunday School for all ages, worship service for all ages (and nursery is available then). I would encourage you to visit. Posting this in December. So music and other Christmas celebration going on now. NOW adding in July. I moved to my daughter’s home (in another town), when my husband passed away. My daughter got pretty sick and I called the Second Baptist office to see if they would pray for her (yes, I did pray, too.)The staff remembered me, asked for the details, and said they would. I feel strongly that was a big factor in her getting well quickly. I hope to go back to Second Baptist, Corpus, even if for a short visit. (But hoping for longer.). Sheila again, couldn’t connect directly, so thought I would add on here..no real changes, but things still okay. Still waiting for Mike.. more later. Was surprised this was here.. an even older message.

Justin Little: Padre island Baptist church is an awsome place to worship, and meet new people on sunday morning. The staff greets you with a warm welcome. They have a ministry for all ages from little kids, Youth group called the Revolution Student Ministry, to a Young Adult fellowship ministry, to Adult groups. Padre island Baptist church is like no other church. The staff, pastors are very nice and help full if their is anything you need to make your visit more enjoyable feel free to ask.

Leona T: Great place for pickleball; spacious rec center - 3 courts with portable nets and permanent lines, carpet on walls for noise. Some 2.5-3.0s, mostly 3.5-4.0 players and at times 4.5’s when the weather is bad. Most follow rec’s rules and play 1 set to 11. Last Monday, there was 20 players (max number to sign up is 25) but can get crowded with people just showing up. Overall friendly people and competitive rec play.

Rebecca Parks Dangerfield: Wonderful Church. My daughter and grandson love it too. Its like a learning experience every time I go. The preaching is wonderful. Very down to earth, friendly people. The singers in the beginning of Church are very good. The coffee bar in the front is a plus for sure. Great coffee.

CASA (Christians against substance abuse) is a Christ centered alternative to AA where there is no doubt who your "higher power" is. Truly miss this congregation when were away.

Elva Salazar: For the sake of Gods sheep: My experience attending this church was a toxic occult. There is no board, no covering, and no overseers to this privately owned business. In my years here I experienced the Jezebel Spirit working through the Pastoral staff and leaders. Submission to leadership is strongly required or else you will go through the following: Abuse, bullying, threats, slandering, gossiping, and defamation. Spiritual abuse, authority abuse, and control over you and your spiritual gifts - spiritual blindness witchcraft. This is performed from the pulpit, weapons of worship dance team, and worship team under the direction of the Pastoral staff and leaders. I personally not only experienced this but also witnessed several people go through this spiritual abuse and were kicked out or pushed out. To the degree that the experience is used as a sermon from the pulpit. Even to claim that those who leave are conducting witchcraft against them or the people when they hear of a suffering. May the local Pastors and leaders that have partnered with this church bring accountability, rebuke, correction, and edification. True godly repentance is needed.

Ken Roelse: We were in the Corpus Christi area visiting family, and looking for a church to attend. Since we regularly attend an Evangelical Free Church when at home, we looked for one here. Our visit found the people of the church to be warm and friendly. Pastor Dave is an expository minister, teaching direct from a chapter of the Bible. The message was very inspirational. We will attend here again when in the area.
