1 /5 Gilbert Garcia: Had the most embarrassing experience!
Went during lunch to get a haircut.
The whole haircut experience was great, Channing was great! When it came to paying that was a different story. I did not realize that they didnt except bills larger than $50 Ill take the hit for that one, but the sign is so small you really only see it when you go up to the register, but if you register and check in online you will miss it.
So when I go to pay I pull out the hundred dollar bill. The reason I had cash was because my debit card had fraud charges and I had to shut it down. Then it becomes an issue because they do not want to take my $100 bill, but thats all I had to pay with. Then they went to talk to what I assume was the manager I believe her name was Mari (Red Hair, first chair). I kept telling her that was all I had to pay with. She wanted told me to leave my ID and go get money, I calmly explained to her that I was at lunch and I needed to get back. After saying this she treated me like a con artist trying to look for a free haircut when I was clearly showing the money. The she told me "then use your credit card then" which to me came as very unprofessional. I have literally been coming to this location for years. By the grace of the almighty I had a card with enough money to pay, but not much for a well deserved tip.
I was so embarrassed and humiliated after this whole ordeal, I wouldnt dare go back. Even my stylists looked so uncomfortable, so I kept my cool and just said thank you and left.
