The teaching is amazing both in the sermon each week as well as Sunday school class. SLF has a very high view of Scripture and the sermons are expositional and go through the Word of God verse by verse. The singing portion of the worship service is excellent with the main focus being on God and exalting and praising Him alone. Crystal: I have really enjoyed Joel and his lessons prior to today. Today he chose to speak on politics and his views on man and womans purpose/ task of reproducing. As a member of the lgbt community it made me uncomfortable and actually feel like i did not belong there. Its kind of sad because it has been over 10 years since Ive been to church. My gf and i were looking forward to attending weekly and joining the service groups.

steve garner: I dont understand these churches in Seguin. Churches are supposed to be in the community to help people. I was told to call this church i was trying to get a ham for Christmas and the lady from this church that called me plainly told me they dont help people like me. What good is a church if there not helping the community i think they need to actually open a Bible and read Gods word.

I was given the opportunity to join the worship team and though the fulfillment of the music and witnessing the reactions of the congregation, it has strengthened my faith in Christ. Pastor James believes in preaching from the Bible and knows how to navigate the Bible to back-up Gods word. Great church with great people that believe in Gods word. I highly recommend One Hope.
