Anchor Ministries - Bandera Jennifer Kelly: Hi everyone! I wanted to hop on and talk about Anchor Ministries.
This whole process started with a desire to go deeper into the Word of God. Along the way there was some very deep “church hurt”. We belonged to a church family and ultimately left the church after seeing and experiencing things within the church that did not line up with the Word of God.
My husband and I opened our home for a Bible study and Anchor has grown from there. Our mission is to reach the unreachable. No watered down gospel here! Both myself and my husband are recovering addicts. We have a passion for addicts. Really, anyone!
So, still a very small group of people. We converted the barn into a church building. We would love for you to come hang out with us!
Non-denominational, straight from the Bible. Praise and worship gets loud! Tuesday night Bible study at 6:30 pm. Dinner is served! Kids are welcome! Sunday morning service at 10 am. Children’s church for both services!
Foundation Christian Ministries - Bastrop MR. P.: From the moment you walk up you are greeted and welcomed. Lots of friendly people, willing to talk and help you with your journey with God. Mens disciples groups and learned something new each time, everyone was involved and eager to share and talk about their testimonies and experiences to relate to the lessons. Sunday service is always on point and uplifting. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone in the Bastrop area looking for a family and a church to join
